I don't want to live in Florida. I just want to visit Disney World and Key West a few times a year.

I lived there for 11 years and was happy to leave; too hot and buggy from May-October. The rest of the year ain't so bad.

Disney World in late January-February is really great. Key West almost anytime, but I avoid Fantasy Fest. The Conch Independence Day every 23APR (for a week) is more fun IMO. Not at crowded but still a lot of fun stuff.

pfft In Alaska we get moose, bears, wolves, lynx, and foxes. Only one I haven't seen waltzing through my back yard is a lynx.
