About one third of the states are going to effectively ban abortions or already have.

About one third are going to keep abortion legal no matter what.

About one third of the states could go either way.

Why are pro choice advocates so afraid to battle the issue out on a state by state basis?
Because states rights are a bunch of bullshit. That's why.

States right enabled apartheid. The only thing that happens when states have to decide is extremists make fucked up decisions that the federal government has to correct.

But it isn't and never has been.

So either get ready to give up or fight.

Your choice.
The right to body autonomy existed when the government was mandating life saving vaccinnations. So why not now?

Oh I am not afraid of a fight. And there will be a fight.
I don't think these right wingers understand the fight that is coming to them. They have a bloated belief in their superiority that's delusional, so now they have started a fight they cannot win.

.

No ... Actually they are defined in the Tenth Amendment.

If you would like Abortion to share the same protections ...
All you need is a supermajority in the House and Senate, and 38 states to agree.

Likewise, the States are still going to have a say-so in that.

.

The left has never given a damn what the people want. Leftist leaders think they know what's best for the peasants, and the peasants better shut the hell up and do what they're told.
Roe didn't force anybody to do anything.

The anti abortion states are.

And you peasants are the compliant ones aren't you?

The left is not demanding that victims of rape or incest have to carry the fetus to term. The left is not discussing investigating miscarriages.

Both sides want the world to do as they are told.
The left demands that you don't leave your house during a pandemic with a 99% survival rate. The left demands that you take an experimental vaccine regardless of your personal views or health issues.

The left invokes bodily autonomy only when it's politically expedient for them.

So just having secular human rights, as outlined in the Declaration of Independence doesn't have any meaning.

Interesting concept.

Fifty solutions to a problem are far more likely to come up with one or more successful solutions, than ONE imposed on fifty states. Besides YOU are the one always blaming the federal government for slavery and Jim Crow rather than the states. As usual you are trying to have it both ways, the only consistency you have is inconsistency.

They are defined in the supremacy clause where it says that the federal constitution is the supreme law of the land. It is defined by the working hierarchy whereby federal agencies supersedes state agencies. The president is above a governor, the federal supreme court decisions supersede state court decisions. States rights are bullshit and were only made to be after the federal government ended slavery and passed the first civil rights act.

Bullshit. That's why the Articles of Confederation failed and it failed with only 13 states. The federal government made slavery legal. States rights made jim crow possible. As usual you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Oh, you have to move to have rights that were guaranteed for 50 years? Good plan.

Or they can stay where they are, and vote for candidates that are pro-choice. And if they need an abortion (or other things that the GOP wants banned) they can travel to the states that allow it. Medical tourism.
The right that does not appear in the constitution and was invented by an activist court was simply brought into line with the actual constitution by the current court. You are not just demanding the right to abortion, but demanding it become convenient too.

As to your second idea, it is true they can do so. Also, don't complain if pro life votes change the laws in pro abortion states since they obviously have the right to vote too.

About one third of the states could go either way.

....
And the other one third are going to keep working on their math skills.

When the process of an abortion is exposed, the people see what it really is. They cannot win when the barbaric practice is exposed and debated openly.

What makes you think that's not going to happen?
