I don't know that the democrats have controlled the inner cities of America for 50 years. I do know that the majority of black voters are not part of that blight even if some of them live in inner cities. 88% of the black population is productive and doing fairly well. If the democrats are responsible for that, it could be the reason voting blacks support them.
