Why Donald Trump Won’t Fold: Polls and People Speak

We want people who will make America great again, not a third world shithole like Mexico

We want people who will make America great again, not a third world shithole like Mexico

Who makes America great again?

People with loud mouths who shout out vague promises or people who have a brain and know it takes small changes over a long period of time?

I'm wondering what makes some people think that those people who currently support Perry, Carson, Fiorina, Christie, Paul, Graham, Jindal, (stops to take a breath), Cruz, Santorum, Huckabee, Pataki and Gilmore will all throw their support to Trump when their guy ( or gal ) drops out.

Trump has peaked. He's got 25% of 26%. It ain't enough.
I'm just seeing the reality here. He is getting crowds only wished for by other candidates and the message is, we are going to make this country great again. People want to hear this.

Don't you see the similarity between Obama's first run and Trumps? The enthusiasm is rocking!

Probably won't happen, but trump getting the GOP nomination would be the best gift ever for the DNC. GO TRUMP!!!!

No. None at all.

Trump is making a joke of the GOP and a fool of you. It won't be long now.
And you believing in the lying, deceitful Hillary is not making you out a fool?

Silly nutter. You don't know me very well.

And.....should Hillary win the nomination......she's a serious candidate with a well thought out vision for the nation. Trump tells you he loves America and you swoon like a little schoolgirl. There is no comparison.

Think on it. The guy who has the least meat behind his rhetoric is LEADING the other 17 GOP candidates. The entire party looks like a bunch of dupes.
And you are hoping to vote for Hillary before she gets indicted. Want to talk about a bunch of dupes?

Once again....you seem to be confusing me for someone who has made a decision regarding the 2016 presidential race.

What's the over/under on how many candidates you will express total support for in this cycle? I'm thinking 5.

Democrats don't have a prayer this time around. For one thing, there's nothing exciting going on for democrats. They have the slow motion train wreck that is HillaryClinton. They have the battle of the old geezers. That's it. I actually though O'Malley was going to stir things up. Then he got saddled with Baltimoreitis.

There's no one left.

Why Donald Trump Won’t Fold: Polls and People Speak

A review of public polling, extensive interviews with a host of his supporters in two states and a new private survey that tracks voting records all point to the conclusion that Mr. Trump has built a broad, demographically and ideologically diverse coalition, constructed around personality, not substance, that bridges demographic and political divides.

In doing so, he has effectively insulated himself from the consequences of startling statements that might instantly doom rival candidates.

In poll after poll of Republicans, Mr. Trump leads among women, despite having used terms like “fat pigs” and “disgusting animals” to denigrate some of them. He leads among evangelical Christians, despite saying he had never had a reason to ask God for forgiveness.

He leads among moderates and college-educated voters, despite a populist and anti-immigrant message thought to resonate most with conservatives and less-affluent voters.

He leads among the most frequent, likely voters, even though his appeal is greatest among those with little history of voting.

He is a phenomenon who's time has come. Fingers crossed that the rest of the voters see that changes mean the country will be better off with the silent majority finally speaking up.
Lol his complete lack of substance is why he will ultimately go nowhere as a candidate.

I'm sorry but you people need to realize he will completely unravel when the time comes for him to be forced to talk substance on political issues. He doesn't know jack shit about things like foreign policy or immigration. Bitching about these issues is far from an indication of being informed about them. He has no earthly understand on how the government even functions.

Deport. ALL. Illegals.
And how would one do that, and what of their American children?
Once the immigration laws are enforced, illegals will self deport in large numbers. Heavy fines for hiring illegals will help a lot. The children? Go with their parents just as they do any other time.

And how exactly is he going to enact all these laws? He's running for president, not king.

He'll get a lot more cooperation than the kenyan usurper.
If not, I suppose he has a pen and a phone, too. :eusa_whistle:

You liked it when the kenyan usurper said that, didn't you?

I truly hope trump keeps talking loud and long, and the entire country realizes just how much right wingers believe what he says.

Hmm well when he opens his mouth. His immigration plan could cost up to 300 billion and take decades to implement according to the CBO.

In an interview with CNN, he was asked to compare Hillary to other Secretary of States of the past and all he could say was "I don't want to name names." How pathetic is an answer like that? If he did know any, he wouldn't waste an opportunity like that to bash Hillary.

Oh and let's not forget he has NO IDEAS on how to replace Obamacare and create job growth. What's he waiting for? Why doesn't he just say what these ideas are if he has them.

He's a moron.

JACKSON SAID:

"Once the immigration laws are enforced, illegals will self deport in large numbers. Heavy fines for hiring illegals will help a lot. The children? Go with their parents just as they do any other time."

Immigration laws are currently being enforced.

Moreover, one is not 'illegal' until found guilty in a court of law of entering the country absent authorization; undocumented immigrants cannot be deported unless afforded due process of the law.

And the bolded is also factually wrong if the children were born in the United States, as they are citizens of the United States, and will remain in their home country, the United States:

'[H]ere's the real proof that having a baby in the United States does little to help an undocumented parent remain in the United States, there's this:

In 2011, there were at least 5,000 children in state custody or foster care because an undocumented parent or parents has been deported, according toa study released by the Applied Research Center, a New York-based think tank that focuses on racial and social justice issues. Some estimates put that figure even higher today. Immigration and Customs Enforcement sent mandatory reports to the Senate that among other things revealed that during 2013, the agency deported 72,410 people who told federal authorities they have one or more U.S. citizen children.

Each of these children and their parents certainly know the "anchor baby" is not real.'

The myth of the ‘anchor baby’ deportation defense

Trump's is a policy of hate and ignorance, repugnant to the Constitution and its case law.

America was not founded by anyone even remotely fitting the current definition of LIBERAL.

You really should study up on the country's founding. Just because you watched a bunch of old John Wayne movies doesn't mean you know what happened. It really wasn't like that.

There's some good old fashion delusion. Trump supporters are not silent, nor a majority
