Only morons that don't know the definition of socialism do that, Sweden isn't nor ever has been socialist, there were at one point highly progressive right up until their high tax rates started strangling their economy (they went from the 4th wealthiest country in the world to the 14th in a bit over 20 years).

Really? Sweden has been bigger than one of USA, Japan, Germany, France and the UK????

I never said or implied that Sweden had a bigger economy than any of those countries you listed, what I said was that they were at one time the 4th wealthiest (as in per capita) and slipped to 14th in a bit over twenty years because their stratospheric tax rates were strangling their economy (i.e. stagnating economic growth), the Swedes recognized the problem and have since moved to dramatically lower tax rates and cut back government spending and it's welfare state.

Why would Republicans do that to this country? Why do you think business invest so much heavier in Republicans than Democrats. That information has been posted dozens of times. It can't be denied.

So explain what Republicans did. It was Mitt Romney that stated part of his platform was to get rid of taxation on multinational companies that brought money back to the USA. Democrats would have none of it, so those companies kept their money overseas and still are today.
