Why is this Board so politically correct?

It seems pretty clear that the majority, and perhaps the overwhelming majority, would like President Trump to be able to put laws in place and spend money and enact foreign policy without interference from the swamp of Congress et al. So why not just advocate for President Trump to have these broad powers? Let's just call it what it is, because if we want progress, waiting for DC to move is not going to work.

Stop being politically correct and ask for what you want.

Indeed, the right wants Trump to magically become a dictator. That's because Trumptards are all authoritarians who hate eveything America stands for.

Well hate to tell you those elected to Congress were elected to do a job and keep the President in check.

President Trump won the Electoral College and is only President and still has to answer to the Congress and USSC.

If you want a dictatorship then move to Iran!

I certainly don't want a dictatorship. I want my conservative brethren to basically come out and say what they want. We pussyfoot around it, but are really saying that the guy was elected to enact:

Tax Reform
Immigration Reform
Better medical insurance at lower cost to us
Infrastructure improvements

And all I see here is whining about how the President is being foiled by the system. That's politically correct and unspecific blather. What is being said here is clear. Get out of the way and let the President do what he thinks best.

Just say it and stop with the political correctness.

You mean kinda like a Christmas list? You gotta add a pony and a jet ski. If you don't, that makes you a socialist.

Democracies usually wind up seduced by a personality, someone they want to believe will solve all the problems and make some detested group pay.
As Republics are a subset of Democracy, they, too, are vulnerable.

Is this where you need to be reminded about the accuracy of poll #'s?

It is the House and Senate to pass all that you want and it is the President Job to either say yea or nay and that is how it should be.

What Trump want is not always what is good for the nation. Are you going to tell me pork inflated infrastructure spending is a wise idea?

You have to have the checks and balance system and also what the House passed for reform on Healthcare was a joke and thank God the Senate said hell No even if Trump endorsed that failure of a bill!

No, the system works even if you believe I am wrong and to call to remove the check and balance to allow Trump to dictate what he want would make the Founding Fathers revolt!
