Why is this Muslim Woman not charged with wearing and mocking the American Flag?

First amendment?

Very disrespectful.
  • The flag should not be used as "wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery", or for covering a speaker's desk, draping a platform, or for any decoration in general (exception for coffins). Bunting of blue, white and red stripes is available for these purposes. The blue stripe of the bunting should be on the top.[7]

Is being very disrespectful against the law?

Why am I not shocked that a person with an American flag as his avatar only likes the Constitution when it suits him

Why am I not surprised that it is illegal to wear her countries flag over her head like a Hijab...

The flag in my avatar is flying not being worn.

Trump is disrespecting an eagle. Everyone knows Eagles hate Trump

There were no such examples of burning the current Iraqi national flags, even by political opponents, as both contain the words Allahu Akbar (God is great), so this would be seen as a religious insult

.Pakistan[edit]
Pakistan's flag comes under the strict protection of various constitutional clauses.

Saudi Arabia[edit]
The flag of Saudi Arabia bears the shahada or Islamic declaration of faith. Because the shahada is considered holy, Saudi Arabia's flag code is extremely strict and even the slightest violation amounts to desecration not only of the flag but is also blasphemous to Islam

It is illegal and disrespectful in her country.

She knows exactly what she is doing while she smirks....

FLAG LAWS AND REGULATIONS continued

§176. Respect for the Flag

No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.

(a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.

(b) The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.

(c) The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free.

(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker's desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.

(e) The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way.

(f) The flag should never be used as a covering for a ceiling.

(g) The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.

(h) The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything.

(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown.

j) No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart.

(k) The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.

§177. Conduct during hoisting, lowering or passing of flag

During the ceremony of hoisting or lowering the flag or when the flag is passing in a parade or in review, all persons present except those in uniform should face the flag and stand at attention with the right hand over the heart. Those present in uniform should render the military salute. When not in uniform, men should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Aliens should stand at attention. The salute to the flag in a moving column should be rendered at the moment the flag passes.

§178. Modification of rules and customs by President

Any rule or custom pertaining to the display of the flag of the United States of America, set forth herein, may be altered, modified, or repealed, or additional rules with respect thereto may be prescribed, by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, whenever he deems it to be appropriate or desirable; and any such alteration or additional rule shall be set forth in a proclamation.

"Why is this Muslim Woman not charged with wearing and mocking the American Flag?"

The better question is: what does her being Muslim have to do with anything – would it be unoffensive if she were Christian.

She's an American citizen first and foremost, at liberty to express herself consistent with First Amendment jurisprudence, where her religion is incidental and irrelevant.

Sarah Palin defacing a flag...

I am not her keeper.

I hate seeing the American flag being burned, and I defend a person doing so.

Regarding this lady, it reminds me of the controversy when they wanted to build a mosque near Ground Zero: It's legal to do it, but it sure as hell isn't very respectful.
.

There was nothing disrepectful about a mosque being built near so-called ground zero,

except of course to those who blame all of Islam for the attack.

"so-called ground zero".

Interesting.

If every Muslim in the U.S. wrapped themselves in an American flag every time they left the house, the flag-worshippers' heads would explode.

As a matter of fact, it wasn't called "Ground Zero" until after the attacks. It was called "The World Trade Center" or, if you were a NYer, just "the Towers."

Correct. It would have been weird to call that area "Ground Zero" before the attacks.

And?

Well, your "point" infers that I blame all of Islam for the attack, which is just another one of your lies. Like clockwork.

But I do realize that you want to defend the PC-Protected religion, even when referring to such a horrific day, because of your distaste for this country.

I think what she did was both poignant and moving.
