Funny I've lived in several states throughout my life and as a resident voted.. At no time have I ever had to wait more than a forty five minutes to vote at a polling place. Those states are New York, Florida, California, North Carolina, Kentucky and Montana.
Therefore, I believe both you and those telling you that people have to stand for 5 to 8 hours to vote is a complete lie.

It's not a lie. My wife & I didn't vote this election because the lines were over 3 - 4 hours long in St. Louis County, MO, I didn't get my mail in ballot & we had work to do.

They are not allowed to campaign at a polling place....nor should the people offering water or food in hours waiting voter lines..... Keep them from campaigning but not giving out water....

Better yet, there should be no situation, where it takes more than one hour in line, to vote..... Where is that legislation forcing state precincts to be fair and equal for all citizens in all voting districts?

Please link to a photo of a voting line that is 100 yards long let alone a mile. Your stupid exaggerations don't help with your grasping at straws. The laws are not disenfranchisement and you are disingenuous to suggest that they are. All they do is ensure that undue influence is not present at the polls. The laws were also put in place to ensure that people of color are not made to feel threatened if white supremacists patrolled the polls. Use a little common sense and not just a bunch of knee jerk reaction with no justification.
