The embargo costs us more money than it does them and there have been state department studies ( I wanna say late 90s) that specifcally state that the Cuban issues are due to massive debts that it has and its refusal to liberalize.

Cuban issues are the result of socialism.

Those countries are only slightly more "socialist" than the United States. Soem of them are rated more economically free than the United States.
