Why not replace Harrison Ford the way they replace James Bond actors?

elleniot Page....for all practical purposes has killed her career...which is fine cause she had no range as an actress.

I was just thinking the other day...why do so many stars...patrick swazy, leguizamo (questionable), black dude blade...i'll think of it in a minute, chewetel Edjiofor...and more...dress up as women and play gay or tranny roles. EVEN Ving Rhames!!! WHY do they DO THAT?? Not to even mention that PoS movie with Ledger and Gyllenhaal. WHY do this??

The problem with Indiana Jones as far as a serial goes is that his frame of reference is really the 20s to the late 40s. He was a Nazi fighter. Take the Nazis out of it and it just ain't the same.

I think they can get beyond the nazi fighting......his rivalry with the Belloq could be replaced with other villains.....Bond gets by without the Cold War......
That is true. I just see Indiana Jones as 30s and 40s type figure. Maybe an updated version could work. You are right then that they will need to get someone new to play Indiana Jones.

They could keep it in the 30 or 40s, I think.....Since the second movie was also set in the 20s or 30s, people went to see it...I don't think it would hurt if they kept it there and simply had more adventures.......it would actually be cool if they could make it work.
The easiest way to introduce a new actor would be to start a new series with the great grandson of the original Indiana.

There's a legal issue here ... James Bond and Dr. Who are fictional characters ... anyone can play that part ... Harrison Ford is an actual person ... replacing him is identity theft ...

Wut??

How about the actor Tom Ellis...most recently from the show, "Lucifer,"....he's a Brit, but can do a pretty good American accent.....

If not Indiana Jones, he could be James Bond....

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Lost Proud Boys

The Proud Boys are not socialists, and they aren't racists......if you are stupid enough to drag politics into this, try at least being accurate...

The current leader of the Proud Boys, you dumb fuck, is a Black American of Cuban heritage...you idiot.....and they oppose socialism....you idiot.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Oath Keepers

Shithead....get back on topic, you dumb fuck..........

They're not smart enough to know what they believe other than violence. They're just street thugs. And Cubans opposed Castro. They've never had Socialism or Communism. They had Authoritarianism.
Shithead, get back on topic......

I know you are an insane leftist, so everything is power and control for you...this thread is about replacing Harrison Ford, you left wing shithead.......

I think they planned on doing that with Shia LeBeouf.

Then he went to shit.

He would have been a bad choice anyway......Spielburg has lost a step.....

Crazy as a bedbug. Talk about a blown opportunity.

I thought they were going to bring the character into the present day by saying he lived an extraordinarily long time because he drank for the Holy Grail.

I was wrong.
