Arent they the dudes who refuse to vote on new spending unless there’s a way to pay for it . With all the wall talk there’s been no talk on where to get the money .

Or do they not care about budgets and deficits anymore .

Has anyone floated a way to fund the thing?

There are tons of ways to fund the wall:
1. Tax remittances https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/05/tax_remittances_can_build_the_wall.html
2. Take it from foreign aid ($55b)
3. Use tariff money
4. Use leftover money from disaster relief
5. Use Defense money ($700b)
6. Any other ways??

Great idea. Now, all they have to do is get congress to take the money already assigned to those things, away and redirect it to paying for the wall. How soon do you think there will be a vote to do that?

I support a national 3% sales tax. I don't see any other way to balance the Budget. If you do please post it.
The top 5% would need to pay 75% of their income, which will never happen.

The GOP and the dems won't have a choice in a few years when the Debt interest crowds out critical spending.

I think they plan to take it out of useless money wasters, like Department of Education, but I would support some serious defense spending cuts to pay for it, if that makes you feel better. I would support a $2-for-$1 defense spending cut to pay for needed barriers, especially down in The Valley from the coast to about 100 miles west of Laredo along the Rio Grande. I would be willing to bet that such a move would stop about 65% of all illegal border crossings.

It's a matter of everyone being committed to our future and holding their representatives and senators accountable.

To use a phrase from Jim Rome: "Bang your monkey" (call your local radio station and tell them to keep "The Jungle" on their programming).
