Donald Trump said Tuesday during a campaign stop in South Carolina that Americans should inform on each other and denounce their neighbors to the authorities:

“People move into a house a block down the road, you know who’s going in. You can see and you report them to the local police.

“You’re pretty smart, right? We know if there’s something going on, report them. Most likely you’ll be wrong, but that’s OK.

“That’s the best way. Everybody’s their own cop in a way. You’ve got to do it. You’ve got to do it.”​

Trump's rhetoric is scary and reminiscent of old Nazi Germany. He is clearly telling us who he is - so voters would have no excuse for buyer's remorse if they send him to the White House. Pay attention.

Obama had AttackWatch and wanted people reported for expressing opinions. Kids have been asked to report things their parents said and did.

Watching for suspicious activity in your own neighborhood is just smart. And, yes, you should report anything that seems strange. The neighbors of the San Bernardino terrorists thought about reporting strange behavior but were worried about being labelled bigots.

So, if I understand this, liberals tend to be okay when a Dem president wants people to report their neighbors and family for calling him a liar, but think it's wrong to report people, say Muslims, who may be terrorists?

Obama said people were lying about Obamacare and wanted people to report to his Gestapo-style website so he'd know who his enemies were. Never mind that the "lies" turned out to be true.

We kept hearing that if you see something, say something. Of course, at the same time, Lynch is saying she'll come after you if you say the wrong things. The administration is acting like if you suspect Muslims of anything, it's hate speech.

Maybe Obama should adopt Trump's idea right now. People should say something without fear of backlash. Obama should also allow Homeland Security to practice this and allow them to fully investigate immigrants. As it is, much of the intel has been ignored and officials aren't allowed to check social media. Gosh, would be awful if they saw something and actually discovered potential terrorist threats.
