Why were Democrats pimping an immigration bill earlier when the country already has immigration laws that Dems / Socialists refuse to enforce? Why don't Dems /Socialists address a problem they created?

It addressed issues that Republicans and conservatives had been hawking. Not all of them. But a lot of them.
