Yes, You're A Communist

No, very pure capitalism actually does work. What you have there is bunch of imaginary made up tales. Singapore is doing extremely nicely (and there are no wolf problems there that I am aware of). And no it's not completely "pure" capitalism, nothing completely pure actually exists, so you can forget that lane of defense right there.

Singapore is an island state that has no primary industry, and is basically a financial institution in itself. Ask all the people who work in the service industries there if it is all wine and roses. And they are control freaks. No long hair, no smoking in public (not that it bothers me), no chewing gum. A one-party state more or less. Great way to make your point.

Exactly which of those claims refutes the claim that it's a capitalist country? It is a capitalist country and owes it extreme success to only one thing: capitalism.

Guess what other countries were capitalist? All western countries when they were succeeding, apart from the soviet union... The post-soviet countries which are STILL a basket cases, but now are at least well on their way to prosperity through... you guessed it... mostly capitalist economies.

Studies report about 1 % decline in GDP growth for every 10 % of government spending. Regulation can be even worse... Freedom from coercion works!

You chose government rule over freedom. You, sir, are a fool.

Proper regulation of capitalism is, in effect, part of capitalism itself.

The key is in finding the most efficient points of equilibrium between the positive dynamics of capitalism and regulatory protections of both consumers and the very competition within markets that makes capitalism so dynamic.

Ironically, without proper regulations, capitalism's inherent weaknesses would leave it vulnerable to those who are truly anti-capitalist. Those regulations protect capitalism from those who want the opposite. Lucid capitalists understand this.

And equating "freedom" with proper regulation of capitalism and markets is naive in the extreme, and probably best left to the simple-minded, binary, ratings-driven ravings of conservative talk radio hosts.

The principles of Christianity would sufficiently temper the excesses which capitalism has displayed. Unfortunately, this has not happened.

Did you notice that the Communist Party USA no longer has to run their own candidates? They backed Obama and are for Sanders

They will support Hillary when she wins the nomination. What's the point of running your own candidates when their positions are exactly the same as the positions of the Democrats?

Show us where Hillary Clinton wants to abolish all private ownership of property and business.

"Communism is the exploitation of man by man, whereas capitalism is the inverse."

Truly amazing how little you actually understand.

But...how facile you are with the Liberal answer to actual education, bumper-stickers.

Begin your understanding of capitalism here:
In the free market, every man, woman and child is scheming to find a better way to make a product or service that will make a fortune!

When you really begin to pull yourself out of the mire of ignorance, research the Stakhanovite Revolution.

"Dunce"....wear it proudly.

Could you change 'fool' to 'moron'?

MoronMatthew is soooo much more catchy.

Surprise is admitted at seeing certain posters agree to how exploitation does, indeed, work in both systems. It is a question fo the wrong people having control.

Like all leftwing douche bags, Hillary makes it obvious that she believes your net income is a gift from the government. Your property is just being rented from the government. You don't own it. Corporations exist to carry out government policy, not serve their own purposes.

That horseshit filled rant does not answer my question.

"Communism is the exploitation of man by man, whereas capitalism is the inverse."

The original version of that joke was the inverse. It originally went "Under capitalism man exploits man. Under socialism it's the other way around." The joke was originally coined in the USSR and first heard in the West when Reagan told it at a press conference after returning from a meeting with Gorbachev. it's an attack on socialism, not capitalism.

'Exploitation'....another one those Leftist bumper sticker terms.

Look up its meaning.

Oh....and then look up 'slavery.'

Must I be responsible for your ENTIRE education????

Yes it does. Modern day communists have learned to disguised their true intentions, but only the gullible are fooled.

  • The Seven Commandments:
  1. Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
  2. Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
  3. No animal shall wear clothes.
  4. No animal shall sleep in a bed.
  5. No animal shall drink alcohol.
  6. No animal shall kill any other animal.
  7. All animals are equal.
Any who can't identify this, or understand the allegory.....must be a Liberal.

Okay, so the disguised intention of American conservatives is to turn America into the new Nazi Germany.

Agree?

For someone so smooth she avoids answering challenges that she has failed, Poli has gall to school others. Her condescension is exceeded only by her incomprehension.

In this case, it was heard from a dear friend who was a Communist.

We had many great conversations on all manner of subjects. He accepted very well my critique of communism and conceded where faults lay.
