Yet another 'unintended consequence"of the tax cut [scam]

Hey moron you read that part of abortions kill baby's.. there by no diapers to sell to?

So, fuck head.......without diapers to sell......How come K-C STILL made a PROFIT of $2.3 BILLION????

Go on, answer THAT without the big, bolded fonts..........LOL
It's called diversification twit!
And, here's another thing for you to learn!
"Fiduciary responsibility" That means KC has a duty to protect their investor's money, more than their responsibility to their employees.
You are probably one of the <50% that think they have nothing invested in the stock market.

Dumb ass lying liberals are telling big fat whopper lies again. Lying by omission, twisting a story to fit the liberal narrative. Here are some points from the article the OP intentionally left out, I think we all know why.

1. The restructuring was going to happen regardless of the tax law's passage.

2. The reason is increased competition and lower birth rates than it expected in the U.S. and South Korea, which impacts diaper sales.

3. Kimberly-Clark has a long history of supporting American workers and manufacturing. The restructuring is required to retain its leadership in a rapidly evolving global marketplace by streamlining its operations and reducing costs.

4. Kimberly-Clark remains committed to American manufacturing and American workers with plans of significant capital investments into its ongoing U.S. operations.

5. Kimberly-Clark will continue to employ more than 12,000 workers in the U.S.

Kimberly-Clark, maker of Kleenex and Huggies, says tax bill helps fund plan that includes more than 5,000
layoffs

Millions still use the other paper products, especially the baby boomer so that less birth rate excuse is bogus.

.

Kimberly-Clark needs to reduce costs and restructure or thousands more U.S. workers will be laid off you retard, hello. This restructuring was happening regardless of the tax cut bill why do you keep forgetting to mention that. That the tax cuts will help cover the cost of restructuring which helps stock holders including middle class pension funds that are heavily invested in corporations, why do you fail to mention that. The tax cuts will fund capital spending to keep the remaining 12,000 U.S. workers employed why do you fail to mention that. Only lying liberal scum could spin this story negative.

Ask the 5,500 people without a job that question moron.. lets see a link to the tax cuts keeping 12,000 employed.

Open your eyes, the company is hurting because of online Amazon delivery stores..

I can almost bet that these employees as well as thousands of future employees of Kimberly- Clark and other manufacturers will be replaced with machines who work 24 hours a day, no retirement, no vacation..

The Tax cuts are going to help buy the machines..

We are going to see a big change , and big layoffs ahead.

Stop drinking the Kool-aid and see what is happening..

You think without those tax cuts they'd keep unprofitable factories open?

Last year, its profit was $2.28 billion or $6.40 a share. For 2018,the corporation is shooting for more, at least $6.90 a share

So that means they have to keep unprofitable factories open?
They can't close an unprofitable factory until the entire corporation becomes unprofitable?

Should they be forced to hire more people, so they can lose more money, faster?

Using tax cuts to help pay severance..........
You think without those tax cuts they'd keep unprofitable factories open?

You're dumber than you sound.

U.S. postal strike of 1970 - Wikipedia

The U.S. postal strike of 1970 was an eight-day strike by federal postal workers in March 1970. The strike began in New York City and spread to some other cities in the following two weeks. This strike against the federal government, regarded as illegal, was the largest wildcat strike in U.S. history.[1]

President Richard Nixon called out the United States armed forces and the National Guard in an attempt to distribute the mail and break the strike.

More than 210,000 United States Post Office Department workers were eventually involved across the nation

Conclusion
The strike ended after eight days with not a single worker being fired, as the Nixon administration continued to negotiate with postal union leaders

Ronald Reagan fired the striking PATCO (air traffic controllers) workers. But with hundreds of thousands of postal workers on strike, the cost of paying their CSRS (retirement) vestings would have been in the billions of dollars. In short Nixon couldn't afford to pay the cost of severance.

Ronald Reagan fired the striking PATCO (air traffic controllers) workers.

One of the best things Reagan did.

Included in the tax bill, there is THIS provision....

A company moving to another part of the U.S. or on foreign soil (like China, Vietnam, Philippines, India, etc.)

CAN USE THE MOVING COSTS AS TAX DEDUCTIBLE EXPENSES.

However, a worker whose company moves to another state, CANNOT claim the moving expense as a tax deductible one..

FAIRNESS TO THE CONGLOMERATES......???

A company moving to another part of the U.S. or on foreign soil (like China, Vietnam, Philippines, India, etc.)

CAN USE THE MOVING COSTS AS TAX DEDUCTIBLE EXPENSES.

Corporations can deduct business expenses. Weird, right?

However, a worker whose company moves to another state, CANNOT claim the moving expense as a tax deductible one..

That's awful! Why don't the Dems write a tax bill making middle class tax cuts larger and permanent and make moving expenses deductible? We all know Dems love it when people keep more of their own money. DERP!

You realize middle class Americans have trillions of dollars invested in these corporations right, ooops you don't sorry to burst your bubble.

Hey, fuckhead.........do you know the percentage of Americans who invest in the market???

Do you know the total percentage of FOREIGNERS who are getting wealthy from investing in OUR stock market???

This is too complex for your limited brain cells....find another thread, you idiot.....LOL

do you know the percentage of Americans who invest in the market???

We should raise taxes, so fewer Americans can invest in the market, eh comrade?

Do you know the total percentage of FOREIGNERS who are getting wealthy from investing in OUR stock market???

Do you know the total percentage of AMERICANS who are getting wealthy from investing in FOREIGN stock markets???

This thread has went the very same way the other thread ON THIS VERY SAME STORY, even when libs are given the reason for the plant closures, they just continue on as if facts don't matter.

If you read the link that the OP provided, they mention Amazon which makes perfect sense Bear..

Amazon can get the order to your home in a few hours ( around here there are drones that can deliver it )

Why would a hard working person go to the store , stand in line and drag it home when it can be on your doorstep sooner..

I am having my heavier things delivered to my home now because of my arm ( I can't carry heavy things anymore ) after cancer.. and it only costs 10 dollars to deliver..

Amazon Prime is free delivery..if you are a $11.90 a month paying member.. Gas to go to the store is more than that..

Young people today go online and shop for an hour at lunch time.. and it is delivered by dinner.

Families do not have down time with the moms staying home cooking on the stove all day anymore.. sad to say.

Does that make sense?
