The media keeps going on and on about how the entire nation is "grieving" over the George Floyd Affair, essentially calling you a racist or at a minimum heartless if you are NOT grieving. And that on top of the fear and loathing caused by media reaction to the C-19 virus and the idiot reactions by state and municipal Democrat governments nationwide.

Media, media, media. The common factor in all things bizarre occurring in the nation.

Are you properly grieving at a politically-acceptable level? Or merely annoyed?

I only publicly grieved once. The day they cancelled "Firefly".

Why do you listen to these people and pay for the propaganda?

Because they are a personal object of study for me.

No, I am not grieving for that gentleman. I feel sorry for his family.

I do hope that if that cop did actually commit an illegal act, he is appropriately punished.

I am grieving, however, for our nation.

To see those looters, vandals, arsonists, and murderers running riot last week is absolutely sickening -- but not really surprising.

To see politicians, actors, athletes, businesspeople, and ordinary people kneeling and groveling is surreal.

How else is "God" going to punish our nation in the remaining months of 2020? I shudder to think.

My Russian Blue cat died because of liver failure, i grieved for that cat because he was a "good" cat. I am annoyed as hell, that the Lame Stream Media made the degenerate father of children from baby mommas, that the children didnt even know, as some saintly figure to be followed. If you want to go to hell, follow Floyd's example..

The study of history and politics benefits all.

That's the reason such subjects have largely been removed from the public school system. It permits Democrats to keep the same info cycle repeating decade after decade.

I weep constantly. My coronavirus mask just soaks up all the tears :itsok:

I'm grieving, but only after considering everything that has been put out there so far about not just this matter, but other things that are addressed in the news too.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I saw last night on the news that the remains of two missing kids were recently found. Is it the brother and sister duo that was all over the news earlier this year?

Grieving? You bet, but it started a whole lot longer ago than Pinned Floyd's big hit. It doesn't have simply to do with "race", though that's part.
The America in the illusion I was taught is what I grieve for. The America that could have been I grieve for. The America that could be I still manage to hope for, but seeing so many who refuse any qualitative developments causes me to grieve even for today.

I used to feel sorry for the stupid liberals when i was younger, thinking that the government didnt give a shit about the poor. Then when i turned 30 that was when i realized that those stupid idiots voted for people who kept them poor and miserable. That is liberalism/Socialism/Communism/Progressivism/Democrats in a nutshell..

I don't grieve for George Floyd. Officer Chauvin's stupidity annoys me, though. Not that his stupidity was cause for the rioting but that it triggered the snowflakes to riot.

I blame the Chinese and their stupid virus. The left was angry after being locked down for almost a month, and the killing gave them an excuse to go ape shit.

That's is truly strange, considering I taught for 21 years.

Indifferent. Couldn't care less.

Same here. I never heard of him till he died. From what I've read though he was far from a choir boy.

I couldn't care less that he's dead. I do care about the looters, arsonists and murderers out their using his death as an excuse to do what they do. The police and NG should be shooting the bastards.

I am not grieving, I’m saddened, I was more upset that Dorn was murdered. So many years he gave to his community and a senseless act of violence took his life.

I do know of people that have cried and are in despair over the murder of Floyd, They don’t really speak of Floyd, they speak of his race and the perception of police brutality.

I have posted several articles dispelling the perception that there is police brutality, when actually none really exists, however no one, including the media want the perception not the reality.
