After the historic Supreme Court ruling affirming marriage equality, Arizona Pastor Steven Anderson calls for the execution of gays and lesbians as well as any member of the clergy who performs same-sex marriage.

Why am I not surprised to see this Christian Manifesto suggest violence and imprisoning people.

You're assuming a rational basis for the obsession. There isn't. Sil is emotionally invested to the point of addiction. She's already admitted how much damage these posts cause her emotionally and physically, how detrimental they are to her health, how they hurt her.

And yet like a dog returning to its own vomit, or perhaps a junky returning to the needle, she can't help herself. Its an obsession.

And obsessions are about satisfying an internal need. Not effecting the outside world.
