4.2 Million signed up through Feb.

I'm waiting to see if they will ever come out with the numbers regarding how many of that 4.2 million actually paid? The reason why I'm concerned is that if those paid numbers were good there is no doubt that the administration would be touting those numbers publicly.

Exactly.
The numbers must be pretty embarrassing for obammy or he would be yelling em from the roof tops.
Or the IRS is so incompetent they cant give you the numbers. But they sure dont have a problem when it comes to auditing the tax payers.
This whole thing is crooked in so many ways that it's hard to keep up. And it appears the IRS is bought and paid for by dems.

As usual-- the DEVIL is always in the details. Of course the DETAILS are something liberals will never POST. In the same linked article it says:

Sign-ups slowed last month, with fewer than 950,000 picking plans, according to federal data released Tuesday. Administration officials cited the shorter calendar month as one reason for the slowdown.

Not all of these people have completed enrollment by paying their premiums.Officials said they don't have a tally of how many people have paid yet, but insurers interviewed have indicated the figure is running in the 80% range. Those who don't pay will have their policies voided.

The number of young people picking policies surpassed 1 million in February, but their share of sign-ups remained steady at 25%, lower than projected. Younger enrollees are crucial to Obamacare's success because they are thought to be healthier and less expensive, and insurers are hoping to attract those ages 18 to 34 to offset costs incurred by older, sicker enrollees. If not enough enroll, it could cause next year's premiums to jump.

Also, 83% of people signing up for policies were eligible for federal subsidies to defray the the cost of premiums and out-of-pocket costs.

Over 6 million "liked" policies in the individual market have been cancelled--to date--due to the Obamacare mandates. If you add in spouses and children covered under those plans it is estimated that there are an additional 12 to 14 million that have been added to the uninsured in this country.

So judging from the above article that the OPT used--Obamacare is in major red-ink on enrollment. Also noteworthy is that 83% of the sign-ups are getting Obamacare for free--or are getting tax payer subsidies to pay for it. So where are the people who are supposed to be PUSHING THE BUY BUTTON--and don't qualify for subsidies or free-bee's? They aren't there--and if they're not there--Obamacare implodes on itself. Because it was these people that have to come in to pay for all the rest.

Welcome to your hope and change!

Yeah. Says the guy trying to spin the number that is 1/2, at best, of claimed expectations.

You people are Pathetic....just like the GOP. Rather than suggest how to improve the system, you only want to see the law and everyone using it to fail. I know several people that now have health insurance and are, for the first time in years, getting tests at the Doctor's office that they once could not afford.

That is a baaaddddd thing...right? It must be painful to be a Hater 24/7?

The stats are bearing out that very few of those who didn't have insurance prior are getting insurance. just sayin....

This law harms more than it helps more.
This bill is about the government & controlling everyone, not for the people.
This bill needs to be repealed and get a law that helps all Americans with their health care.

The system is a POS that has no fix to it.

Meanwhile, 4.2 million people, most likely the sickest and costliest patients, comes nowhere near the 30-45 million that the giant Rube Goldberg was supposedly going to cover.

We don't have to want it to fail to watch it happening right before our very eyes. Yet, somehow, that makes us haters.

Grow the hell up.

So, it's "hate" to realize that 80 million odd people are going to LOSE their insurance....that they liked....and be forced to pay far more...so that a million or so can now get insurance.

We would LOVE to make it better. The problem is it is so inherently flawed (and as the insurance companies helped write the damned thing a thinking person would figure out it's going to be beneficial to THEM) that the only logical fix is to scrap it and start over with a system NOT DESIGNED BY SPECIAL INTERESTS AND THE INSURANCE COMPANIES!

Do they count if they have not paid for the product yet?
4 million canceled + 4.2 million signed up - 900,000 that have not paid =?

White House STILL won't say how many Obamacare enrollees have paid for plans, but announces 4.2 million total through February – just 60 per cent of original goal

35, 40, 45 million people were without health insurance. Those are the numbers we were told by whichever politician or media source was shouting the loudest.
IT MUST BE FIXED, they said.
A law was passed requiring all of them to have medical insurance, AND that law subsidized those that could not afford.
We got 4.1 million insured.
The government is calling it a success.
Really, a 10% compliance with a federal law (that includes subsidies to pay for it) is now considered a SUCCESS?
How fucking stupid have people become?
