42% want Trump back in 2024 - 28% want Biden

They all hinge the assumption that a national election by the peoples vote would lead to mob rule inand a president would naturally then ignore states with low populations, The same political parties would still rule every aspect of the federal government.

Well, "mob rule" is nice and vague an easy to deny. But the specific examples Ray cited aren't. They're very realistic concerns.

If we make it to 2024. You guys are so busy fellating Putin you might just manage to destroy everything.
Stop that bullshit. It is just propaganda. And the fraud will never go away, because it really happened.

The number is 40 percent (14 points) higher than those who want Biden back (28 percent).
Pretty stunning numbers considering the twice impeached, disgraced Trump vs. the Most Popular President in US History! Plus Joe is "experienced!"

Another 27 percent told Rasmussen Reports they would prefer “somebody else”
Yeah but I bet most of that 27 would choose Triump over Biddum if they had to.

Ask if Joe Biden’s presidency has been good or bad for the long-term success of the United States, 52 percent said “bad,” while just 34 percent said it has been “good”.
Where did they find that 34, in downtown DC?

That's the only you partisan ***** play.
I am not partisan on this. The media cannot be trusted on anything. I have not taken sides because there is no good guys involved, and that includes our corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.

The specifics of the things he predicted would happen because of mob rule? Like not providing disaster assistance or dumping nuclear waste on them. Those thing don't happen now and it is not because of the protection of the EC. I use to think that if a president did something like that both parties would join together for the good of the country and put and end to that behavior, but now I'm not sure......

It's sure a hell part of the math.

Exactly. We need every bit of "insulation" we can manage to protect us from majority rule.

Yes they do happen now. Look at some of the bills and proposals the Democrats have offered. Find something in those bills that help all Americans and not just likely Democrat voters or their party. They are spending trillions on green energy and it's a waste of money. Millions to the Kennedy Center, the arts. Think Commie Care was created to help all Americans? It hurt millions of us that lost their employer sponsored health plans. People that made a decent living ended up paying much more so that the french fry maker who likely votes Democrat could have very cheap coverage The more government dependents, the more likely Democrat voters. And how about that huge increase in food stamp allowances? It was the largest increase since the program began. You don't think that was to pander to their constituents?

So without a doubt, these politicians do things to keep their voters voting for them. The population of Wyoming is a little over half a million people. Probably only 200,000 voters there at best when you figure in children who can't vote and adults who don't participate. New York city has 8 million people. Now if you were President, who would you ignore and who would you give all the attention and money to?

The EC is the best way to balance this all out. In fact Trump targeted those less populated states that Hillary ignored in 2016 and he won the presidency because of those electoral votes.

Actually that's what it was designed for, so that the popular vote didn't always claim the win.

New York City has a larger population than our ten least populated states. Our founders (looking way ahead) didn't want a situation of one city or state having more political power than a fifth of the entire country. They were geniuses.
That's really NOT what the founders wanted, but what they compromised to, in order to get more states with lesser populations to sign up to be states....to join the Union.

Dems refuse to acknowledge that a majority of Americans disagree with their whacko policies.
That would be the retarded Trumptards.

“We’re going to have insurance for everybody,” Trump said. “There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”

“[They] can expect to have great health care. It will be in a much simplified form. Much less expensive and much better,” Trump said.

"I am going to take care of everybody," Trump told 60 Minutes in an interview in the fall of 2015. "I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now."

In 2017, President Donald Trump announced plans for an “infrastructure week,” a series of high-profile events which were aimed at building support for the president’s trillion-dollar plan to rebuild the country’s highways and bridges.

Said Trump economic adviser Gary Cohn: “We’ve had some achievements to date … but we’re really formally launching the things we’re doing. Next week we’re going to announce a few very interesting things.”

Vice President Mike Pence promised that the week would usher in a “new era for American infrastructure in the United States.”

November 5 2021
The House on Friday voted 228-206 to pass a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill after hours of delays and debating among Democrats, sending the bipartisan measure to President Joe Biden's desk for his signature.

Thirteen Republicans in the House voted with Democrats to approve the bill.

Actually anyone not on the government dole who pays taxes and loves our country should want him back.
Really?

"The only years that anybody's ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax," Clinton said.

Trump quickly retorted: "That makes me smart."

Later, when Clinton told Trump was that "maybe ... you haven't paid any federal income tax for a lot of years," the real estate mogul, who claims to be worth up to $10 billion, said that he was a better steward for his money than the government.
"It would be squandered, too, believe me," Trump said.

Trump made sure of that.
306 days of his presidency playing golf, at a cost of $151 million.

In interview I told @AP that my taxes are under routine audit and I would release my tax returns when audit is complete, not after election!
