Do liberals believe if there was a legitimate Russia investigation going on it will stop with Comey gone? It will continue.

Comey is a political hack. He is so concerned about Trump and Russia, but not who leaked Flynn's name. Not to mention he listed all of Hillary's crimes and then didn't recommend indictment.

And Comey was going to testify again this week. He had to go. It might have looked not so blatant if Rosenstein had been on the job more than two weeks. But you're right. The timing tells the tale.

Imo, this will backfire on Trump. Any hints of leaks that the DOJ is interfering or the FBI is laying off will be broadcast loud and clear.

Both Comey and the NSA Director already testified that there was NEVER any evidence of a crime committed by Trump or of Collusion. The FBI has already said 3 times there is no evidence of collusion. So what else could Comey say. Why would Trump want Comey gone when Comey had already for all intents and purposes cleared him of any wrong-doing?
