The cheeto has said it many times - that he wants to gut the US Constitution and that he wants an end to the First Amendment. He's made other swipes at it but criminal charges for laughing?

Amazingly, the RWNJs like the OP are in favor of of ending very basic US rights. They want the Constitution gone.

And the screwy thing is Luddly, they are starting small, and then later, when they get people used to the idea, they increase it a bit more.

Kinda like boiling a frog in gradually warming water. If it doesn't go up too much at a time, the frog just sits there happy until it's boiled.

And, if you think back, that's kinda what Trump's campaign was like. He said something shocking and stupid at the beginning (his mexican comment), and then gradually amped it up over the course of the campaign.
