The girl in the video used her climbing rope AND she resorted to climbing up the side of the wall. She was basically hoisted up the wall with her climbing rig.
There are NO wall sides with the actual wall.

Take the girl to a continuous portion of the actual wall. Take away her safety line and climbing harness and see what happens.

Then get her mom and dad to try it. I'm guessing that most of the time, none of the 3 make it over. Stop acting like it's impenetrable, it's not. But it IS a deterrent and is better than nothing.

Anything can be climbed including a 30 ft wall but it won't be easy. The wall is intended as a deterrent and it will stop everything but the most determined illegal alien. Some depends on the spacing between the uprights. From the picks it looks like the thing to do would be grab one bar with both hands and brace your feet on the bars to either side. Use friction to push yourself up with your legs and hold with hands to reset you feet. The top barrier would be challenging, but it could be done. From what it looks like I would say get as high as you can and lunge. All you gotta do is get one hand over.

That's all really beside the point though. Getting over would be child's play for anyone with half a brain. The wall is 30 feet high? You need 60 feet of rope. Tie one end off. Throw rope over top. Reach through and tie the other end off. Climb up, climb down. Done.

Yes, easy as pie.

If people start doing that, it's nothing a a little thick grease half way up to the top of the wall can't solve.

Well if you want to attack it on every angle, vote Republican, because it's the Democrats who are stopping the progress. Thanks to Trump, border crossings have decreased 60% from last May, thanks to him holding Mexico responsible for people crossing their country to get to ours. Then of course there are the new asylum requirements which states you have to apply at your embassy for asylum in the US, and if you are crossing Mexico, you are automatically disqualified if you refuse their asylum offers. No more asylum shopping.

Like I said, if you want to see more improvements, vote the Democrats out of office.
