A clear reason why we need closed Primaries

No, they were put in POW camps without a trial.

And the only reason they didn't plaster southern cities with bombs is they had no bombers.

Did the Civilians in Vicksburg killed by artillery strikes get due process?
which one of them was sitting in a cafe drinking coffee with their child??

we all know you dont believe in human rights but please keep defending the cold blooded murder of an american,, dont forget he wasnt the only american obama killed without due process

One positive thing I see from the midterms is clear cut examples of why parties need closed primaries.

All the Extreme Republicans Boosted by Democrats in the Primaries Lost Their Midterm Races

And not "closed but you can switch your party registration the week before closed" but "closed by like 6 months closed".

Parties should be able to choose freely who they want running, not have a gamed candidate foisted on them by outsiders.
My solution would be NO primaries at all. Anyone can run if they can get the required signatures (which would mean money and organization). The election would ranked choice so the fringe/unknown candidates would be knocked out immediately. Candidates supported by the opposite party only would also get knocked out immediately. Eventually it would come down to two candidates and the one with a majority would win. No third-party spoilers.

you are aware all the confederates were not americans at the time of the war dont you??

they renounced their citizenship when they succeeded from the union,,

Well Vicksburg didn't have cafe's, but it did have streets, where was the judge giving process to those civilians?

They were traitors fighting against US forces, and were doing it openly. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

Not according to the Union, they were US citizens in Rebellion, the entire crux of the Union argument that they were NOT a separate country.

And after the war they were still US citizens, and considered as such for various punishments.

If we do that, no early voting. It just adds another layer of potential fuckery.

One day, 24 hours total, Absentee ballots only for those actually out of State.

The UNION GOVERMENT, which was the actual government of the United States at the time, said they were Americans. They had to or other countries might recognize the Confederacy as an actual nation. Instead all the Confederacy got was "belligerent status".

The government issuing the citizenship says you are a citizen or not, based on the rules of the Constitution of said government.

They were never citizens of anything else but the United States, because in the end, the Confederates lost, and the CSA never existed as an actual country.

the constitution says they have right of due process,,

You aren't a government issuing citizenship according to a given Constitution.

Also reported for accusations of criminal activity of a sexual nature.
it wasnt an accusation it was an example of stupid thinking,,

its a waste of time with you nazi fucks since you dont believe in human rights,,

The link shows clearly where in this cycle people who weren't Republicans voted in the Republican primary either because it was open, or the ability to change parties was not limited by a large time point from the primary itself.

While I agree with the concept of closed primaries, either register for the party or don't vote in their primaries.

Your link isn't about DEM's voting in GOP primaries it's about DEM organizations spending money to advertise far right GOP candidates. It's about spending, unlike Limbaugh's Operation Chaos which actually called for the GOP to vote in DEM primaries.

And they didn't get it because they were in open rebellion and it was impossible to do it.

Those traitors were fighting US forces, and when a chance came up, they were taken out.

Same as a union artillery barrage taking out Confederates resting in their camps during a surprise attack.

I believe in human rights, you have just spent pages defending a stupid statement you made and don't have the moral or intellectual fortitude to admit you fucked up.

Wasn't part of the spending telling Dems to switch over in races they knew they had a leading candidate?
