CHARLESTON, W.Va. — There hasn't been a darker moment for a president — or for the presidency — since Richard Nixon resigned on the verge of impeachment in 1974.

On Tuesday, Michael Cohen, the president's longtime fixer and former personal lawyer, pleaded guilty to felony crimes that included illegally paying women hush money to help Donald Trump win the presidency in 2016. Most important, he said he did so at Trump's direction.

In other words, Trump cheated to win the White House, according to one of his closest former associates.

Thoughts on the following?

It wasn't just a bad day for Trump, it was a historically awful day for the presidency.​

Bottom line is Trump hasnt done anything wrong but is targeted for removal by the Deep State Democrats and Repugs alike since before day one in office. Russian Collusion? just a ruse to get rid of the guy they didnt think could win. He paid some women money for something that wasnt illegal and he didnt use camaign money.

Why is everyone against Trump when he is the best thing for minorities in a long time? lets see, his predecessors would offer crumbs and cell phones... but under Trump the economy is getting better, there's industry coming back to the inner city dead zones where they once thrived, he's trying to stem illegal immigration which hurts both minorities and immigrants who came here the right way. At one time there were a lot more black owned businesses in this country, they didnt all dissapear because whites didnt want them around, (well some did) but mostly because the damages caused by the welfare state tearing apart at families. The same thing happens to poor white people too. The ones you might call trailer trash that are on welfare. It's kind of hard to get any momentum going there.

Trump also wants to pass a prison reform bill that will hinge around education and job training for the incarcerated, while giving those better living conditions as a reward for good behavior. You can say Trump is a sleaze if you want, but he tries to get things done that Obama wouldn't touch or Hillary for that matter , such as taking on China in the trade tariff disparity.

The prison reform bill alone , if both sides can get together and pass something could be one of the best thing to happen in a long time for everyone involved. But you can see why the swamp animals dont want Trump around. he's bad for business as usual.

And for the record, when you call the plumber out to your house to fix the toilet that is backing up, it doesnt matter that he paid money to his mistress to protect him from his wife. You dont have to invite him for dinner, just let him fix the damn toilet and be on his way.

I think there is this misconception among Democrats that all who voted for Trump love him as a person. I believe most people just voted for him because he will do better things for the country as a whole than Clinton would have. You dont have to invite Trump for dinner.

Mueller has evidence we don’t even know about true

Not likely.
Manafort has been convicted of a decade old crime we've known about for years and Cohen has made a claim that cannot be proven in court. We knew about this a long time ago.
BTW, Cohen signed the plea deal in April (4-24-2018)....but for some reason Mueller hung onto it till now. Why is that?

“What he knows that he witnessed will be of interest to the special counsel,” Davis said of Cohen. “He will tell the truth to everybody who asks him about Donald Trump.”

Davis claimed that Cohen could tell Mueller about “the obvious possibility of a conspiracy to collude.”

Tuesday’s extraordinary developments were notable because they directly implicate the president. Cohen pleaded guilty to making campaign payments, at Trump’s direction, to silence two women who have said they had extramarital affairs with Trump.

Cohen reached the plea deal with federal prosecutors in New York. However, as Trump’s former fixer and confidant, he would likely be a person of interest in Mueller’s probe, having handled Trump’s business affairs for many years.

Responding to the news on Wednesday, Trump lambasted his former lawyer.

So, you got two points in there, one, that he paid women hush money,


and two, that there is more coming on "the possibility of a conspiracy to collude".



The first is minor, if true.

The second, from a lawyer, is a statement with THREE QUALIFIERS, from a lawyer, ie, a "possibility", that people might have planned to so something, not that they did it, and what they would have planned would have been to PLAN to do something, ie collude.

IF, the lawyer is not just flat out lying, AND the POSSIBILITY, turns out to be true, then you would have a PLAN of people to, in the future of that plan, to MAKE a plan to work together,



And based on that, you call for Impeachment?
