A new low for the once GOP

The dishonesty of the Republican Leadership reaches a new low this month as H. of Rep. Republicans go on a full court press to manipulate the American Voters while ensuring those they truly represent, the Health Care Providers, of their loyalty.

"A House member's meeting with health care providers "should be closed press," the kit says. A public meeting about health care, however, "should be 100 percent open to the press."

It's the freaking duty of congress to be the checks and balances of government. It's dishonest of the radical left to suggest that the Constitutional duty of congress is dishonest.

Checks and balances for sure. Do you really really believe the current H. of Rep is acting in good faith?

BTW, define "radical left".

"Leaders of both parties typically offer "talking points" to lawmakers heading into congressional recesses, when they mingle with constituent groups back home. The GOP's colorful document, first reported by Roll Call, is full of ideas for promoting and conducting such events.

"Make sure to use a camera on a tripod" for a "YouTube Live Roundtable," it says. Also, "wear a hard hat" and "post a creative Vine video" after visiting a local energy-production plant.

"When touring a college, the kit advises, "take a photo outside of the stadium, arena, or famous spot on campus wearing the school's colors or team gear to promote on social media."

"The kit suggests ways to attract, limit or ban news reporters. "Invite select local press," to a college visit, it says, but invite "all local media" to a hospital tour.

So you're basically upset anyone is going to counter the obie admin's big push for socialized healthcare. And by using all you have available to counter obiecare you are somehow deemed striking a low blow. Even as obie and his minions try to convince the NFL and any other useful idiot they can find to promote this disaster.

Today's GOP is not the GOP of your father. They are merely water-carriers for Big Biz. Sad, no, pathetic :(

This is beneath contempt but their fact-free voters will swallow it- hook, line, & sinker

OP,

You are complaining about the GOP having closed door meeting on healthcare after all the closed door meetings Obama and the Democrats had on it when forcing and bribing it's passage, using tactics which violated the rules of Congress?

Pretty amazing isn't it? Libroids have no shame, no conscience, no moral compass. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Socialized health care? You're a parrot and don't have a clue.

Cool, a classic example of an ad hominem attack.

You don't even realize what you are talking about here.
This is very sad.
You read a news article and don't suss it out.
Then you wonder why you get laughed at.

Where's the press kit from Xavier Becerra?
He's the Caucus Chairman of House Democrats.
Or are Democrats going to ignore their constituents?

Want to name a few things that they have NOT exempted themselves from?

Uh...here's one. Up until "60 Minutes" exposed them, they were exempt from being charged for insider trading, which they gleefully indulged in.

Take your cherry picker someplace else.

As an independent voter, it can be very difficult to stand in the middle as both parties do incredibly stupid things. These 30 some Republican votes to kill Obamacare, (The Affordable Care Act) absolutely takes the cake. Democrats won this one, and the U. S. Supreme Court backed them up ~ John Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and a conservative Republican backed the legislation.

This is why Americans have had it with politicians, especially Republicans, they are being obstructionist. The funny, (ha, ha part of it?) is the Republican governors are lining up to sign up for The Affordable Care Act because it is the only way they can provide their States with needed health care while balancing their State budget.

Objection your honor! the fact that Republicans are being obstructionists is their only redeeming quality right now, after all do you really want these clowns getting on the same page with the morons on the Democratic side of the aisle and passing even more egregious affronts to our liberty into law? After all, if you want to know how to make any problem worse, ask the U.S. Congress.

Clearly you must have a solution to the problems of health care in America before the ACA and now ideas on how to solve those in the new law. Why not lay it out for all of us to see?

You're a jerk. That's all. I don't debate with jerks.

Obama's health care plan, on 8X11 paper, stands 8 feet fucking tall.
Why don't you lay that out for us, asswipe. Obama isn't capable of doing so.

You don't debate with anyone. You've got an excuse to ignore everyone.

The solution is simple. Get government out of the health care industry. Allow the Free market to influence prices. Allow people to be responsible for their health instead of trying to outsource that responsibility to bureaucrats that have no clue what's in our best interests.

It's simply amazing that you on the left want the government involved in every single solitary health issue in our lives except when it comes to the protection of a child.

Once again I should point out the purpose of this thread. That is to expose as many persons as possible to what I consider deceptive practices of the Republican Leadership.

Those who expect me to attack the Democratic Party seem to believe I have a duty to be fair and balanced. I don't. Those above who attack me for being partisan have mostly failed to acknowledge their party registration and yet can't defend the Republican Party's practices as posted in the news.

It is easy to point fingers and blame others (me, the Democratic Party, government in general or the human race exclusive of their own set) and difficult to defend a practice which exposes the efforts of the once GOP to speak from both sides of their collective mouth. Those who suggest I'm being hypocritical in only attacking the practices of the GOP ought to look at their own threads and posts. For the attacks on President Obama, Minority Leader Pelosi, the deceased Sen. Ted Kennedy are many, personal and IMO despicable.

Of course that does not mean I won't go after Boehner and McConnell, two of the most incompetent members of Congress to ever hold a leadership position.

It is gratifying that so many have visited this thread, and hopefully read the articles I posted and thought about them.

Why don't you, who want it repealed, explain why.

Because that won't work. The insurance industry is in business to earn profits, not to pay claims.

That's not true. Again, why lie?

a closed door meeting...no way,I mean seriously? this is the complaint? ...we are only 6 months into obamas second term and this is it? ... man, the counter punching has reached....wait for it.......a new low..

Yeaa!!!! New... NEw ...NEW LOW...

no I mean really?a new low, how about a not quite so new, slightly used low? :eusa_eh:....?

It's completely true. And you wonder why you are known as one of the biggest liars on this board?

The free market is the best system. After all, it did create the greatest health care system in the world. The problem is the government has been eliminating the free market in the health care system for decades. And we wonder why it's crap now. the government makes it worse and then proclaims that they have the solution to make it better, just give them control. And of course, their solutions make it even worse than they originally made it.

People are going to die because of you statists and your propaganda. Do you know how to kill a million people? You lie to them. You certainly have that down pat.

Crazy isn't it? This administration is stonewalling the investigation of at least a dozen scandals and it's the Republicans who are at a new low by having a closed door meeting.
