A Question For Junior

I caught the tail end of Paul Ryan's speech last night on the radio. It was very good. It's just a damned shame it was all empty lip service.

The only full speech I caught was Junior's. I missed the other kid's speech.

So I listened to Junior's speech. Actually I saw it on TV. I wish I had listened on the radio instead, because his fake teeth were very distracting.

Anyway, whoever wrote that speech for him certainly earned their paycheck this week. It was great stuff. It had lots of good things to say about Republicans, and some zingers against the Democrats. I liked it.

The only question I have for Junior is, IF BEING A REPUBLICAN IS SO GREAT, HOW COME YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN ONE?

What the young man didn't explain was Donald's litereally stiffing suppliers and sometimes workers themselves.

But basically he said his dad was a good dad. And for what it's worth, I believe that to be true.

Still, it's the convention. So I'm not bitching about the lack of a progressive tax and spending plan that reduced the deficit, or how he's going to pay for rebuilding the army (and why, since a RCT would pretty much take care of ISIS) or how he's going rebuild mftring where it's always going to be cheaper to make teeshirts and shoes overseas
