Supreme Court won't hear Missouri AG's attempt to delay Trump's hush money sentencing

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected an attempt by the Republican attorney general of Missouri to delay former President Donald Trump's sentencing in his criminal hush money case in New York.

The court declined to hear Missouri's lawsuit against New York.

The brief order was unsigned but indicated that Justices Alito and Thomas would have heard the complaint.

"Missouri's motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied, and its motion for preliminary relief or a stay
is dismissed as moot," the order said. "Justice Thomas and Justice Alito would grant the motion for leave to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief."

Let's be clear, filing this case was a political stunt with no legal standing which is why the announcement denying the motion included the word moot. Making Sam and Clarence's willingness to hear the case all the more blatant in its absurdity. Or perhaps better said in its politically motivated hackery.

If there was any pretense to a claim of impartiality left from these two justices there isn't any more. They are shamelessly all in for Repubs and they don't care who knows it. Why should they? The only recourse available to hold them accountable is impeachment so they know they are safe as Senate Repubs will protect them just as they protected Individual 1.

Despite both ruling they wouldn't have heard cases under similar circumstances in the past.
I'm not sure it's possible to have exposed themselves more completely as being in the bag for any case involving trump or advocated by conservatives. They realize they have outed themselves and they're okay with it because their obscenely biased conduct is beyond the reach of accountability.

the entire Hush Money trial was a political stunt. New York City spent millions on a political witch hunt, that will kick them in the ass for decades to come.

Who wants to go there , considering how far they will go to persecute their political adversaries?

Whether you believe that specious assertion or not, it has nothing to do with the lack of standing by the MO AG to pursue his motion. A legal matter the nitwit twins were willing to overlook in order to try to get trump off the hook for his crimes.

President Trump didn't commit a crime, the case was a sham, a Stalinist Show Trial.

If the Supremes said that the Missouri AG didn't have standing, fine.

But that doesn't mean that the plaintiff was a nitwit.

I'm sure there will be plenty of other cases launched over this atrocity.

Shit-lib Stalinberg80 is scared and knows Trump can't be beaten by voting.
Stalinist LAWFARE is all the demented LEFT have left, besides trying to MURDER him, AGAIN.

So even YOU understand that MO had.standing (no interest since it was a state of NY matter and not a MO matter)to file here…

Somehow Sammy and Clarence missed that
