There are very close relations between the IDF and the US military and between Israeli intelligence and US intelligence so perhaps that is true, but I really don't know. I do know Israel and the US share raw intelligence with each other so there is a high level of trust.

Your link does not address your claim that Sharon was some how involved in the tragedy of the USS Liberty. The incident has been investigated over and over again by the US Navy, Congress and two Presidents, so there is no rational basis for wanting to doubt the conclusions of all these investigations.
