How did that whole 'taking a knee' and 'black power' gesture thing go in stopping another shooting?

Was the National Anthem playing when the cops in Tulsa shot the unarmed black man?

Was the entire country in attendance and refuse to step in and stop it or was it just a handful? Funny how blaming the entire nation and protesting the entire nation and the history of America failed to stop a couple of racist cops from shooting 1 man.
