Almost half of Americans work in low paid jobs

I love that moronic $6.2 billion claim. Hilarious!!!
How much do we pay to provide food, housing and healthcare support to Walmart employees?

Walmart pays what it legally is supposed to pay their workers. So the problem isn’t Walmart the problem is the government and when the Democrat held the House and the Senate they didn’t address the issue. So it seems like both parties are a failure and it isn’t a priority, yet we vote for them, so why change?
When the Democrats held the House and Senate in 2009, they raised the minimum wage

It hasn’t been raised since
If not for 10s of millions of illegal aliens living in America the minimum wage would rise naturally
About 12 million actually, brainwashed functional moron racist idiot.... Not your fault. And they do not compete with Americans cuz of the crappy jobs they do. Pass the Democratic ID card and end this long-running GOP scam wedge issue.
12 million is just a number that some blowhard pulled out of their ass

Others believe its more like 25 million if not more

Illegals take jobs away from the poorest and least educated Americans, many of whom end up on welfare

No, employers willingly give those jobs to immigrants in an effort to avoid the exorbitant wages demanded by American workers.

Pass the Democratic bill with ID card and end this ridiculous wedge issue scam... You can use it for your imaginary illegals voting problem too...

I would not call the $500 billion that china profits from trade with America nothing

And it means fewer jobs for American workers

How much do we pay to provide food, housing and healthcare support to Walmart employees?

How much do we pay to provide food, housing and healthcare support to the same number of welfare recipients without Walmart jobs?

Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, the list of mega-chain big box retailers is quite formidable Todd

It gets harder to paint ALL of those employees losers , when more and more end up on our tax dime

But subsidies are socialism , and the rabid right can't have that, can they?

Unless they create it....

If you want to cut off welfare to workers, just say so.

When an employer offers a job for let's say $10 an hour they don't want a good worker. They are interested in only a warm body. So don't apply as one knows this going in.

Maybe they want students or part timers like moms who want mothers hours?

Yanno the real trick to subjugating the masses is ?

making them believe they're not Ray

What America's $2 Trillion Underground Economy Says About Jobs

Many work under the table. OPs stats are meaningless.

Is this a good time to mention i've bartered for venison ?

I'm such a miserable shot you see.....:boo_hoo14:

From the link:
But the biggest contributor to the underground economy in the past few years has been employers increasing their use of freelancers or "independent contractors" – even many who actually work full-time.
That's not "underground." Having a "contract" means the IRS is made aware. The income is reported else the employer couldn't deduct the expense. The IRS then goes after "contractors" who fail to report the earnings above a minimal threshold, which last I saw was $600. Having ""independent contractors" (Form 1099 takers) serves the interests of employers far more than the workers. No vacation, sick time, health care, unemployment,... to worry about and still paid by check, not green "cash."

Indeed so Grumbly one

to extend that, the insurance cabal has had quite the hand in it as well

a 'subcontractor' or 'independent contractor' would mean 1099, W9, contractors insurance, good to go...

now many states lump WC onto this, even though an LLC or type S's only employee is the owner of the company

BUT (and this is the kicker) one can ,as CEO, sign off on his/herself for a lower rate WC policy

Essentially , they've mandated a policy that serves no purpose

AND, can consider one an 'underground employee' w/out it

ask me how i know......
