But what's unsaid in that phrase is its origins.

That was the phrase of the "nationalist" nazi movement that was very strong in this country in the 30s.

And make no mistake...the right wing was nationalistic, militant, isolationist, and racist and anti-semitic, and bigoted.

The WORLD was nationalistic at the time and that ended in a World War.

We DON'T need to relive that but for some reason we seem to be doing that.

We have a choice. We CAN turn away from that. We CAN lead the world through what I see as a crisis.
