“Funding for this sensible investment in the health of our communities enjoys rare bipartisan support,” she said in an emailed statement. “And, thanks to President Biden, the Legislature was able to pass a balanced budget with plenty of money left in reserves. I think it's odd DeSantis's spokesman chose not to say why.

I can see why corporations should be leery of weighing in on partisan issues, but who can be against using public money for poor women to avoid getting pregnant. That saves money and no one can be against contraception unless ...... oh, wait a sec.

Funny how the Left rails about denying people healthcare and so much more if they choose to partake in dangerous activities like not getting their Covid shots, yet they have no problem with people laying around knocking out baby after baby they can't even afford who then will likely go on to have babies they can't afford neither, yet now hypocritically they are demanding public support for both the babies themselves AND even the means to help prevent them so that their bad habits are not the slightest bit inconvenienced.

You see, where the Left loses it yet again is in not realizing that God in society acts just like the Constitution; whereas the Constitution is governance for man's laws, God (or religion) is governance for man's soul: the Constitution was written to RESTRICT government's reach and activities just as God exists (for real or just in man's mind/mythology, your choice) to RESTRICT the activities of man because at some point long into our history, someone realized that we needed it. Far from a hindrance, this acts like a governor on an engine or an error code parity in a computer by providing a guiding reference point for society to know when they are wandering from what works into dangerous waters, but progressivism is too naive to understand that man, like the rest of nature, fits into a plan not of our making but natures, and society and culture are not meant for endless reckless experimentation.

Birth control is NOT health care nor is it a "reproductive rights" issue. People have every right in the world to reproduce or not. Personal responsibility is what you would like to see disappear. If you don't want children--don't fuck. Your fun, family planning or lack thereof is not the responsibility of taxpayers. How about living with the consequences of your own actions without being a parasite on society for a change.
