Except for trump’s obvious age and increasing dementia, since Biden withdrew from the race a nominee’s age (and mental clarity) has become irrelevant (though, it should not). During this period of indecision by Party strategists on how to campaign against Kamala Harris, trump, in his own way, has taken a page from a long-standing Republican blueprint. He is attacking Harris for being bi-racial. Such attacks are certain to impress his devoted followers.

Looking back at the GOP’s history, the Party’s Southern Strategy was developed in the 1960s and relied on conservatives' innate racial and ethnic hatreds. Since then, the Republican Party has nurtured and exploited right-wingers’ proclivity for racism, bigotry, homophobia, xenophobia, misogyny, etc. Beginning in 2015, trump deftly took the Republicans’ own Southern Strategy to levels unseen before.

“Media Matters for America writer Eric Kleefeld wrote: ‘The Republican Party is now officially running on a campaign that you can’t trust biracial people.’” Kleefeld must be very young if he believes this is something new for the GOP.

Speaking of “old tricks”.....it was really strange how the deep state disappeared there for about 6 weeks when the blob was winning court cases. Its apparently back now that he’s behind in some polls.

It’s also strange how the kooks on the right are (or at least for the last few months) no longer talking about splitting the nation in two. If Harris pulls out a victory..expect that to start back up immediately.

Obama as president caused many on the right to lose their sanity. If Harris wins, we may see a Jonestown type of episode with many of them. Buy stock in Kool Aid.

What the American mainstream media seems slow to catch on to, is the REAL reason for banning abortions.

First World wealth and prosperity is built on controlling the size of families. It is, in part, why China introduced a "one-child" policy. Small families allow the parents to focus all of the time, attention and resources on "raising children", rather than "providing for your family".

All of the authoritarian dictarorships have declining and aging populations - China, Russia, and Hungary, and in the USA, the declining population is white people, because we're not having enough babies to replace our own population and we're marrying non-whites and having bi-racial children.

Our economy and "culture" is based on small families. Nobody can afford to have more than 2 children these days. In keeping wages low and profits high, and not providing paid maternity leave or universal health care, American greed has made having children too expensive so people are having fewer children.

Now they want to ban abortions and birth control so that white women are forced to have more babies. Putin has just told Russian women to have more babies. Both Putin and Orban are providing financial incentives to women to have families.

Republicans have always preferred the stick to the carrot and lord knows that they oppose giving money to people who didn't "earn", so they're trying to end abortion and force women to have more white babies, by banning abortion and birth control.

They fail to realize that Western Culture is built on small families and nurturing those children with education and opportunities.
