Anger as Republicans block bill to help military veterans exposed to toxins

See Post #16.

No offsetting spending cuts to pay for better than a quarter trillion in spending over 10 years it so it should have been killed as a matter of course.

Maybe the vets lobbying for it should have took that into account and suggested some cuts of their own to ease the tax-payer burden.....But no, as usual they just stand there with their hands held out....They give fuck-all about the tax-payer.

Did the Repubs that sent them to Iraq cut spending to pay for the war there? Why were you not demanding offsets to pay for the war that caused these Vets the problems?

"They’re manufacturing reasons to vote against legislation that they literally voted for just last month," Butler added. "And so it’s really a new level of low."

Veterans who were exposed to toxins during deployments said the lives of sick and dying people who served the nation are on the line.

"It’s angering. It’s frustrating," said Tom Porter, 54, who developed asthma after spending a year in Afghanistan with the U.S. Navy Reserve from 2010 to 2011.

In the first week of his deployment, Porter said he suffered a serious reaction with his lungs and could not breathe.

Le Roy Torres, 49, who was diagnosed with a lung disease and a toxic brain injury after he was deployed to Iraq with the U.S. Army, said he was devastated about the failure of the bill and urged lawmakers to reconvene immediately.

Is that anyway to treat the veterans, they are spiteful at Joe Manchins agreeing to the package.

So with a crippling deficit, rampant inflation & no end in sight to endless bloated budgets, the RINO's blocked more spending?
I remember hearing something about the ten's of Billion$ we sent to the Nazis in Ukraine or the $ we left behind when the Pedo armed the Taliban like a modern army before tucking tail.
Maybe that should have gone to our veterans?

They'll propose massive new spending, all in the name of the "greater good" & you'll cheer them on as they collapse us from inside. Then you'll bleat along as they blame it on captalism.
The seditious & insidious spirit of Cloward/Piven & Saul Alinsky lives on in progparty

Lets start... Please remove 'Patriot' from your name... You are more fuck the nation kind of guy...

So you want troops to go to war and then fuck them if they get harmed...

And Trump is your guy...
I am? You want to punish job creators to pay for your mentally I’ll social plans that don’t work

Trump was pointing toward a certain captured prisoner. One who ended up being what Trump was declaring. Trump speaks the way he does.
Only he didn’t say McCain
He insulted all POWs

Trump considers POWs to be losers

But you don't know all that's in the bill. You do realize what might be a good issue gets shit stacked on it.

It was already negotiated. If it takes crap to get the veterans health care taken care of, that's on the politicians and not the veterans issues.

I'm not going to throw the veterans to the side to further one's politics.

Sadly it's the cost of needlessly sending people off to fight stupid wars.
