Instead, you pulled the old "even if it's not true, it wouldn't surprise me if it were". Thereby....still trying to establish the inaccurate claim as having some basis in fact.

Actually, I did admit that it's possible I was wrong, and never actually said that I was entirely sure in the first place. I said "Anonymous suspects" and then said "I agree", not that it's absolute fact it was happening. Furthermore, saying "It wouldn't surprise me" doesn't change that I admitted it probably wasn't true, it only means that it could possibly happen. Check the original post, and you can clearly see that I never said it was happening. You don't seem to have a very firm grasp of the English language.
