There is not luck in deciding to have cameras.My solution is not always carry a gun....since not everyone wants to...but against a violent criminal attack a gun is the most effective way for an individual to survive the encounter....and it doesn't matter if they are old, injured, physically handicapped, a small female or male, outnumbered by the attackers, wether the attackers are armed or unarmed. A gun makes the individual on par with one or more armed or unarmed attackers and there is no way to get around that....
In this attack...she is lucky....that is essentially how she survived the attack...pure, dumb, luck.......is that how you want to enter an encounter with a violent criminal.....giving yourself over to their good will or just relying on pure dumb luck?
It might have been the cameras. They had to know there was a good chance of being caught at that point. They weren't going to commit murder on camera.
