After that, the Republican Party abandoned any intention of ever doing anything of the sort and has continued to obstruct even modest proposals.If there was any truth to that they would have done so when GW was President when we had control over the federal government since Bush was soft on immigration because his sister-in-law is a Mexican immigrant, or when Trump took the presidency in 2016. Instead Trump was tough on immigration.
It's not Republican led cities where they warn illegals when ICE does their workplace raids, or give them drivers licenses to get to those illegal jobs.
The government is there to enforce our laws, and if a person is in this country illegally, they broke our laws and government should be kicking these people out of the country just for being here.
We can stop illegal immigration if we had politicians with balls. Write a law making being here illegally a felony punishable for a minimum of five years in federal prison. No walls needed, no additional border patrol, and it would cover those who overstay their Visas.

Paul RINO Ryan is the only reason Trump didn't get the money for his wall. Are there Republicans that want to see this illegal immigration going on? Yes there are, but they are minority in the party. The reason Trump won the primary is because of his tough stance on the border. While the others were talking about immigration reform, path to citizenship and all that bullshit, Trump was the only candidate with the message of closing down our border and throwing these illegals out of the country.

If Xiden pardons all these illegals, it's not quite the samething....they are still here illegally, that doesn't grant them citizenship...the President can't do that unilaterally.
So they would still be deportable.
