First, the so called report never showed up on CNN. It was a tweet made by April Ryan at 12:18 pm. At 3:36 pm she tweeted that reporters had reviewed video of the event and discovered that the booing was directed at a heckler in the crowd.

The real fake news scandal is about FOX News. They actually took photo's of Eagle's players kneeling in prayer and showed the photo of them praying and portrayed it as them kneeling during the national anthem. CNN vetted the April Ryan story so it never appeared on a CNN broadcast. FOX never vetted the Eagles kneeling photo, or broadcast the fake news on purpose.
