Are Meme's About To Become Ban Worthy?

Seems to me if you made the meme --- or even if you didn't but just selected it -- and use it in a post, then the point in it belongs to the poster that posted it, same as if he/she had typed it out.

I'm not crazy about photo memes -- they're a convenient way to make a funny, but too many asshats find a pic of Hitler or Bush or O'bama or Lincoln and embed fake but serious-looking quotes in there that the subject never actually said, and the subject in the photo has no control over what they're being associated with.

If the words in the Meme are not ban worthy and the Meme itself is not ban worthy how do 0+0=1?

As long content is NOT a threat and the pic is NOT porn what rule has been violated? None, and when the OWNER of THIS site builds THAT site to enhance THIS site then Meme's SHOULD be fine.
Misquotes? Do you EVER think a Meme quote is REAL?

"Loyalty" doesn't enter into it. I noted that meme generators already exist on the internets, and posters (other posters, not me) already use them. THEREFORE, no site rules should change on account of whose meme generator made it -- the end product would be the same anyway.

Use your head.

Personally I'd get more out of the site not constantly redirecting me to "Prepper Forums" and "Outdoor Forums" and that whole bunch of sites I have no interest in when I click Reply to a post.

CCleaner takes care of the re-directs. I think that is more a server issue then site.

The announcement AND feedback is where it BELONGS. It's feedback on what maybe a problem IF Meme's are over regulated MORE then pics OR comments. And this is NOT the forum to flame period.
