I could read Hamlet in Klingon, but I can read William Auld, Jorge Camacho, and Kalman Kalocsay in Esperanto. I can't use Klingon to travel for free either.

Eh. I'm not a fina venkist anyway. The "interna ideo" is stupid. From a practical standpoint, though, it's still good for meeting any of the two million odd speakers with whom one doesn't have another language in common, reading and watching and listening to original works, and the passport service - you know, actually being used as a normal human language. You do realize why there are native speakers, right?
