That isn’t the case with everyone particularly those with the highest incidence of health problems.
Just to put it in a slightly different perspective, when it comes to preventive gynecological exams, I would prefer a female. That does not mean a male is less qualified or capable, but I am far more comfortable with a woman doing it. And I am educated, white, from the dominant culture and English is my first language. I have none of the barriers or distrust others may face either culturally or linguistically. Am I a sexist?

What limited resources are you referring to?For most of my life, I would have agreed with you. The world we're moving into is one of shortages, not abundance. Capitalism - and really any current economic system - assumes abundance of resources. Even though communism 'shared wealth', it still competed with capitalism and thus exploited and damaged the earth as much as capitalism did. In fact, in many ways, it was worse because the governments in communist countries never had to be held accountable to public grievances.
This is beyond the socialist v capitalist spectrum. We need an entirely new way to think about economics. If we don't, then civilization will collapse, probably within the next 10-15 years, and it's entirely possible that much worse happens after that.
