Being FORCED to stock up on essentials...

Luckily, as long as the internet is still running, there will be no interruption in the porn supply. I guess we should be thankful for that.

Geez. I cringe to even think of what your version of "porn" might be.

Umm.... take a look at your own avatar. Just sayin'.

Can I retrieve your mind from the gutter for you? I'll actually do it for free...

Ah yes, got wunna them right here.

Can you imagine what would happen if NYC and the East Coast had a 2-4 day power outage about now?

Shit, our power grid is more outdated than our pandemic preparedness!

Thank a decade and a half of do-nothing Congresses and each other if it occurs!

But, it ain't gonna happen, so go buy more frozen food.

Damn would that guy just please drop dead already...

I feel like at this point it's irresponsible to NOT stock up more than I normally would.
Not because I fear the virus but because the media induced panic is wrecking store shelves to the point that if I just wait till I need something it wont be available.

This nonsense has gone beyond absurd. 3 days in a row and ZERO stores in my area have toilet paper and the canned goods and dried food sections are almost bare.
This ridiculous shit is self fulfilling
You should have prepped. Just get a pack every other week.

You can stick with your preferred cure of having a Muslim cleric spit in your water bottle but as for me, I'm gonna give Alex's cure a try.

If I ever do get the shit.

The wife and I just came from a local warehouse grocery store here in eastern Maryland. No toilet paper. No milk. No dry pasta of any kind. No chicken. No ground beef. Everything else is picked over. But for whatever reason they still had tons of fresh eggs. The good news? Everyone is still shopping in a mostly civilized manner. We agree with you, however. Stocking up on the essentials is never a bad idea. Nor is carrying a firearm while you do it. While I am certain everything will be fine, we took the brand new 4X4 to go shopping, complete with first aid kit, bug-out supplies and a fifteen round, semi-auto shotgun made by our wonderful Israeli engineers across the water.

Well, now everyone is coming to terms with the fact that their kids will be home for weeks, and they may end up self-quarantining. So now our food distribution system will be put to the test.
If their kids are not in school, will they be kept in their homes? Or will they be running around in the streets and at the fast food places and the pizza joints and the malls, and the playgrounds and supermarkets and everywhere else they go? Truthfully most of these places closing are scared shitless of the inevitable ambulance chasing parasitical lawyers hell bent on bankrupting the nation. And I am not against them. We just can not accept that people can die. That they will live forever. Except for the rules set up. Its okay to die by the ways we see far to much where violence is concerned.

You are weird.
Seems like an excuse. I might go with it.

Just ask the store when the supplies come in. I did get a 4 pack of TP today.

Here's one of the 3 idiots ahead of me though (btw they're now out of it again)

No need to stock up. The panic buying will end when people see that there are no real shortages. Monday or Tuesday should be the end. Right now there are rumors flying around about all stores ordered to be closed. As soon as this is shown to be untrue the panic will start to subside.

The design is that the whole thing will be over by April.

Haven't your idiot stores put a purchase limit on those items yet?
Ours did 5 days ago.

As I watch the public scrambling looking for cleaning products, toilet paper, water, face mask, latex gloves, medical supplies. I laugh at them it's easy to do when you have been stocking up on items like this among other things. lol
Just imagine when something really bad happens when the food supply line breaks down. Hell it could happen right now because of the big bad coronavirus scare lol

It will and is going to happen fool------ there are huge RIPPLE effects a small mind can't think of yet those ripple play a huge huge part of " economy" oh you guys haven't seen chit yet..............

This is one time you guys better hope it is a gawd dam conspiracy !!

I think you are unreasonably optimistic. The mayor of KC has already begun shutting things down.
Very frustrating that people act this way.

Until this nonsense calms down they need to put limits on these panic buying items. 2 or none

People need to understand there is no supply problem and back off. people are incredibly selfish.
