Ben Carson on White House: ‘I am starting to think about it’

Ben Carson on White House: 'I am starting to think about it' - Washington Times

Retired brain surgeon and noted conservative Ben Carson, who has resisted calls for him to make a run for the presidency in 2016, said that he’s now softened his stance on the issue.

“I certainly didn’t give it much thought early on,” he told Fox News. “[But] there’re just hundreds of people [who are] so enthusiastic” about the idea.

Hundreds are enthusiastic. Hundreds!

He'd be eaten alive.

you are such an idiot. you have it exactly backwards. vouchers help poor kids, the rich don't need them---------------they are rich.

you get dumber with every passing day.

Rich don't need alot of things...they still get them

Conservatives want vouchers so they don't have to pay to send their kids to Christian schools

Stop kidding yourself

so, lets see now. What you are saying is that there are no liberals or democrats or poor people who support school choice and vouchers. Is that correct?

according to the sewer dweller, all poor minority parents want their kids in crappy schools where they will learn how to sell and use drugs and little else.

you are a mental midgit, RW. Really stupid.

What I said was that Republican claims of a Voucher program being the solution to poor performing schools in minority neighborhoods is a bunch of bull shit

Republicans will use a voucher program to get white students out of minority school districts and to provide a means to have taxpayers pay to send conservative children to Christian Schools

Vouchers allow parents to send their kids to the school that they consider best for their kids. If no students show up at a crappy school it will either close or reform------thats the point that you are too fuckin stupid to grasp. Competition will improve schools, common core and other socialist bullshit will destroy them.

You are a true paranoid nutcase. The vouchers would be available to ALL students.

Race baiting biggoted piece of shit.

I don't think RW is a real person, I think he is a sock of jake snarkey. notice that the two identities are never on the board at the same time. they use the same sentence structure and post the same left wing bullshit and lies.

I always thought it was him and JoeyB that were socks
but you might be right..both are ugly but RW is just downright dishonest LIAR and nasty all rolled into one

Why is it working so well in D.C.?
In fact President Obama had to re-instate it because of the huge amounts of protests.

Everyone knows all the kids in DC are all white. That's why it's working. .....duh

He states we don't have any ideas, but when you present a plan that is working where it is applied. He calls bull $@#$. Then says he doesn't want his money going to parents wanting religion being involved. He is a religionphobe racist. It's really none of his business where they send their own kid to school. I don't want my money going for abortions, scholarships to schools where the likes of Bill Ayers teach, but if I say anything, I'm told it's none of my business.

Rand Paul/Ben Carson-----------------great ticket. No dem would come close.

How about Rand Paul/Michael Steele or J.C. Watts?

I think the two guys I put in bold above would be a LOT more qualified to run than west, carson, or cain. How come it seems that these guys (Steele/Watts) don't seem to be on the "radar" for a potential candidate for the same republicans who advocate for cain, west, and carson?

Is there something "different" about Michael Steele and J.C. Watts or Tim Scott from the aforementioned people? :)

No, I don't care to "discuss" it. I am concerned with my vote not those of others or their motives for voting the way they do.

Notice who injected race in this thread?

Ass

Oh please....save us from your false outrage

If Carson were just another white taking pot shots at Obama, he would not get a second glance. But because a black man is taking shots at a black president he somehow gets elevated to a top Republican presidential candidate

Don't give me the bullshit Republicans don't consider race

They consider it for political advantage, they just won't elect a black

I'm not the one expressing outrage, YOU are. At the thought of a black republican being elecyed no less.
You made a stupid statement, I proved you wrong and you persist on crying about it.

Blow me
With a lightbulb?

What happened to J.C. Watts? He impressed the hell out of me.

Imo Steeles decision to be a commentator on the mickey mouse network immediately disqualifies him for me. That shows a TERRIBLE lack in judgment. Not to mention he didn't do a very good job at the rnc.

I am thinking that politicaltouch and jakethefake may indeed be the same person. jake was banned then it seem politicaltouch showed up. RW could also be Jake, you have made the claim more then once and I have not seen either deny it. But then again what good would it do them denying it?

Watts, Carson, Swan, Cain, Rice and others are all acceptable candidates the only thing is they have to show interest. But I have not seen it happen. Powell, he can run as a democrat.

Well, this article is a good read:
Conservative Black Chick » Blog Archive » JC Watts Tells RNC Enough with Phony Outreach; Try Inclusion

What I like about J.C. Watts, Michael Steele, and Tim Scott is that they don't engage in that "Blacks on the Democrat plantation" or "Blacks are brainwashed because they vote democrat" or "The Blacks only vote Democratic because they want handouts" rhetoric. This is one of the reasons why I think that they don't get as much traction as cain, west, carson, et al.

Tim Scott ,as well as Rand Paul, have gone across partly lines and worked with Corey Booker to try to achieve POSITIVE things instead of engaging in the negative rhetoric and inaccurate blanket generalizations that the aforementioned people I mentioned tend to engage in.

Where do you feel that being employed as a commentator on a network that pretty much has an opposing view, is a "lack of judgment" on Mr. Steele's part? I would think that it shows good character to go on a network with opposing views and present your own opposing view.
Why do you feel that he didn't do a good job as RNC chairman? I do remember some conservatives claiming that he was "lazy" and "spent too much money"........... but when I asked them to quantify their assertions, I never received an answer from them.

"“Michael Steele has a message for those who continue to criticize his tenure as Republican National Committee chairman: at least Republicans won when I led the national party."

The RNC & DNC are supposed to be behind the scenes organizations. They aren't supposed to be in the headlines with controversies. Much like Deans tenure was publicly ridiculous so was Steeles.
And his words & actions on the mickey mouse network speak for themselves. I watched enough to know that he is an appeaser. I'm simply not interested in another spineless yes man. We need a LEADER not a follower.

There are controversies with with RNC now, here's one of them:
RNC Chair Priebus Under Fire | The American Spectator

I don't understand how you think that Mr. Steele is an "appeaser", if you have some examples , I would be glad to see them.

When Republicans have elected just six blacks to higher office in he last 100 years it is far from bullshit

What makes Carson any different than the other "we got blacks too" candidates?

So you first state that Republican won't vote for blacks then provide the statistics that they do. Bipolar?

You bragging about six blacks that Republicans have found "qualified" in the last 100 years?

and then they wonder why we find them to be totally :cuckoo:
