Ben Carson seems to know nothing about the US's allies

Carson doesn't seem to know much about anything except brain surgery. He's a smooth talker though. However, a smooth talker was put in the WH and look what happened.

The only reason he sounds like a smooth talker is because of his slow speech and monotone. When you listen to him talk about taxes, the deficit, and foreign policy, he doesn't seem to have a clue.

Yeah we know that you think that black people are stupid, so tell me how he got to be a neurosurgeon then? Affirmative Action?
Obviously he's intelligent, he is just incompetent. He is, as Bill Maher puts, "a dumb smart person."

I mean come on. The video speaks for itself don't you think?
obama thinks the constitution was written 2000 years ago and that there are 57 states...Those videos speak for themselves too, don't you think? Want me to post them...again?

Obama isn't running for reelection again even though I wish he could. We're talking about how Carson doesn't know even the basics of what a president needs to know the first day.
...and I pointed out how the democratic socialists didn't care that obama, the great "constitutional scholar, was utterly clueless about how many states there are or when the constitution was written...but now you've suddenly become literalists and want to play word games.
hyperpartisans and their antics are comical.

I don't think Ben Carson understood the question!

For issues that involve conflict in the Middle East, we usually start with England and France(Paris is kind of a hint, and the two nations are alike like beans and rice!) who also sit on the UN security council and have major influence with other nations across the globe.

We would try avoid leaning publicly on Israel because Israel will polarize the States with large muslim populations against our actions.

Pretty much from here, we can gain most european states, and then we turn to states like Japan, India, SK, Turkey and so forth to maximize support.

You certainly shouldn't be judging anyone's intelligence.

I can only imagine what Republicans would be acting like right now if a Democratic candidate was insisting that they really and truly DID try to kill someone once.

I imagine he'll begin to recede now the way Herman Cain did at around the same time during the campaign 4 years ago. He should still do well enough in Iowa to save face though.

Hey, that's great!....Unfortunately, no one asked what you thought of my intelligence.

now back to the topic; Your president didn't even know when the constitution was written or how many states there are...and you socialists are making fun of carson...too funny!

Thanks for admitting that there is not a correct answer to the question.
Lol come on, don't be a stooge. If Hillary was in this interview and not Carson, you would not shut up about it and you know it.
And if it were Hillary, you would be there to defend her. You would probably be using some of the same arguments in using for Carson. Lets hit the reset button on this one.

It wouldn't be Hillary, because she would be able to name our allies.
That's the conclusion that yall are making that I disagree with. I am sure Carson was capable of naming off a long list of allies. However, if you want to believe that, nothing I say will changequest Obama thinks there are 57 states.

Sure he is capable of memorizing a list of countries. The point is that he hasn't bothered to even learn who our allies are.
That is a fascinating conclusion you are reaching.

that's correct...you can only imagine...
it IS pretty convenient....you can make your fantasy world work out just how you want so it supports your position every time. neat trick. :laugh2:

I'm not familiar with your reference, but the number of states when the constitution was written probably won't be that important for our president, but knowing who our allies are will be.

Republican's don't seem to care if their candidate knows anything. It's bizarre.
In sure Carson can name a long list of American allies. You want to believe that Carson doesn't know a
Lol it's amazing the lengths you people go to defend republicans. First of all, it's dumb to not pick someone first. Our closest allies, Britain and France, would have been a solid choice to start. Or perhaps pick a country in the Middle East, like you know Israel lol. Not only are they close allies but they have advanced militaries. He could have picked an Arab country nearby and said why that nation would have a strategic advantage.

Even if he didn't believe order mattered, he could have just said "order doesn't matter" but that of course would have been a vague, cop out answer.
Thanks for admitting that there is not a correct answer to the question.

Didn't he just say Britain or France? Why yes, he most certainly did.
Well, which one should be first, Britain or France? Or is it some other country? There can only be one first. Well unless he made it a conference call, lol.

He should have named the ally he would call, or just say he didn't know. Simple. Instead we get Sarah Palin word-salad.
You are not answering my questions. Which one should be first? Are you no better than Carson?

Well, I'm certainly not running for the highest office, now am I? But okay, he could have named Turkey, since Jordan has already put a lot on the line by taking in so many refugees.

Even a cursory knowledge of foreign policy and our recent actions would give him the names of some allies.

oh..now you pretend to be confused and try to muddy up clear water...
LMAO..a 5th grader knows when the constitution was written and how many states there are...but it isn't important for obama to know all that tedious stuff..comical!

and here...to clear up some of your "confusion"

..and this one!..even the "wise latina" sotomayor...a "lawyer" and supreme court justice didn't notice it.... and the people clapped! and cheered! their "black" president...no matter WHAT he said.
"20 centuries years ago"
he claims!..the great "constitutional scholar".......:laugh2:

.... you socialists are completely detached from reality:spinner:

Or perhaps Jordan should be first because they have so much on the line. Since there is no one and only right answer of who to call first, its a false conclusion that Carson does not know who our allies are. Sometimes I need a few minutes to make a choice of ice cream at Baskin Robbins but that does not mean I don't know anything about ice cream.

Sounds like you'd be a good running mate for Ben. You can't name an ice cream, and he can't name an ally.

Stop for a second and look at the interview again.

If you notice, Ben Carson reply is basically the same--he is repeating a script--Hence he is not listening to Wallace and therefore is missing the point behind the question.

Wallace knows this and, in a way, is taking advantage of it. Which, by the way, is just punishment by the interviewer since this is suppose to be a staged conversation in the first place.

Does this mean Carson do not know who our allies are? No

It means Carson is politically flat on his feet and does not really listen to others, however.
