Hmm Lawrence O'donnell thinks it is Dan Coates. That would make sense given his ability to look at a lot of the items Brennan, Clapper, and Comey saw about Trump before they left.

I’m convinced by Lawrence O’Donnell’s argument that it’s DNI Dan Coats.

I can’t decide whether to be impressed or disgusted; part of me is glad that adults are in the room keeping him from taking us off a cliff, but I’m angry and despairing that so many Republicans are sitting by either silently, or encouraging him on. These people are NOT patriots.

The republican party started out in part because of slavery. They ended slavery and those democrats fought like rabid honey badgers to keep and even expand it. A republican president signed the bill that made it all good and official and a democrat blew a chunk of his head away for it.
Here's some more... the 13th amendment passed in 1865 (despite lefties howling in outrage and pain) with 100% of the repubs support and 23% of the dems support.
Then came along the 14th amendment which declared those newly freed slaves citizens. Vote was 94% for the repubs support and a whopping ZERO once again for those of lefty bent.
Oh my garsh and holy frogs balls! Then those wicked wicked repubs with their awful, spiteful and racist ways passed the 15th amendment in 1868 with another 100% approval rate as opposed to ZERO for the compassionate critters on the left.

That anonymous source not only exposed Trumps unfitness for office but he also exposed the abject cowardice of the republicans to hold Trump accountable.

Haven’t read it. That the president is a sleaze bag is not news. That the WH is in total disarray is not news. I follow several “insiders” at the White House on Twitter and they routinely post incongruencies so hearing that there is internal turmoil is not surprising.

Every white house has had leaks. Clinton brought in Ponetta after a rough start to his presidency and he addressed the leaks by positive re-enforcement. When staffers are listened to, when their contributions are appreciated, when they feel valued; you have less “whats in it for me” behavior. When you have this blob and are on a war footing against the very tenants of the government and American society; you have dissension in the ranks. You’ll never stop every leak but Trump has encouraged the internal strife so he has more than many.

If I had to guess, I would say it was Kelly Anne Conway via a confidant in the press.
