No, the negotiations ended when the war in Syria began, so Netanyahu didn't necessarily change his mind, the situation changed. In fact, Israeli PM's have been willing to trade the Golan for peace with Syria since the 1990's and Sharon was critical of Rabin for insisting on holding on to a very small part of it when a treaty had once seemed possible. A peace treaty with Syria would have included Syria's refusal to allow Iran to supply Hezbollah, and once the war began, Assad couldn't consider a break with Iran or Hezbollah. Since Syria is now a failed state, none of this is relevant anymore.

lol So what you are saying is that if Iran strikes Israel and Israel retaliates against Iran then Israel is the aggressor.

Your fantasy about Russia striking Israel is not well thought out. If Russia strikes Israel with conventional weapons, Israel will quickly destroy the Russian bases, ports and military assets in Syria, and since all of European Russia is within range of Israel's long range missiles, in the event of a nuclear attack on Israel, all of European Russia would be wiped out. This means that if Russia were to strike Israel, it would lose its whole purpose for being in Syria and perhaps much, much more, and all of this would happen without the US entering the fighting.
