What do you mean without telling the Afghans. Trumps agreement from 2020 gave the afghans notice, and they even started negotiating with the Taliban in December 2020 and reached an agreement.

There are also people in Afghanistan that are NOT 'fine" with the Taliban and are going to be slaughtered because Joe Biden is an idiot that refused to listen to his advisors and wanted the political optics of pulling out by the symbolic date of September 11. Biden admitted on national television that consensus was that the Afghanistan army would probably fold by the end of the year and yet he still left 250 billion dollars worth of high tech weapons as a gift for the Taliban. He left 15,000 American citizens behind to be taken hostage. abused or whatever else the army he armed decides they want to do with them. He's left us blind in a region of the world where we desperately need clarity. He's left 60,000 people that helped our troops to be tortured and murdered as an example to anyone that crosses the Islamic militants that he armed. He's set the stage for all the girls and young women who've spent the last 20 years living as free people to be enslaved, raped or risk death or dismemberment if the wind exposes their ankle in the sight of a man.
