Some Catholics will put their faith in the back seat because of their liberal views. The devout will not. I was raised Catholic, went to a Catholic school, and was even an altar boy in church. Like you, I didn't follow the religion, but my mother and sister have. In fact if not for this virus, my sister would be having Bible study at her house today. Neither my mother or sister would ever vote for a Democrat. My mother doesn't follow politics, but she follows her faith and knows the stance Democrats have on abortion.

If Biden pushes too hard with this religious stuff, I hope Trump's team remembers this to throw in his face at the next debate.

The left siding with religion is like the right siding with the rioters to get votes. It won't work on most religious people. Besides the abortion issue, it's well known how the left are constantly trying to remove God from the public eye. When the subject of religion comes up, they tell people to keep their religion in their church or home, and not in their schools or courthouses.
