My impression is that you keep repeating that without really understanding what it means. Yes sex is biolgical. And biological sex, or at least the associated genitalia determines the assigned gender."gender" has nothing to do with what we are talking about. We are talking about "sex"Your calling me a fucking retard does not make you sound very smart. Why is it not possible for you to have a civil discussion? It really all comes down to a matter of symantics. My point is that a doctor makes a judgement at the time of birth, based on the physical appearance of the child, as to the gender (or sex). If you were half as smart as you think you are, you would know that there is more to gender that external genatalia and that the doctors do not always get it right. That accounts for a good many cases of gender dysforia later. Try giving gthat some thought and do some research instead of just spouting off with insults .Biology isnt assigned, you fucking retard. And it doesnt just happen when they are born either.Oh really? So whrn a birth certificate indicating male or female is issued, that is not assigning sex? Are you fucking serious?"sex" isnt "assigned" at birthPlease enlighten us."sex assigned at birth"
Fuckin science deniers
4th grade biology.
Sex is biological. Gender is a social construct.
At the same time, as a child develops, they may come to identify as the opposite sex, either because of undetected biological factors or other social, psychlogical or environmental forces at work. So yes gender may be a social construct in the absence of identifiable factors that cause a person to believe he or she was not assigned the proper gender.
So in conclusion it appears that you accept the reality of the transgender phenomenon and we agree that social construct at least may play a role in gender idetity. So all of this leaves me wondering what exactly this pissing match has been about. All that I can figure is that you reject the right of people to live according to the gender that they believe themselves to be-due to known and unknown factors- and would condemn a person experiencing gender dysphoria to a lifetime of feeling that they are in the wrong body. Is that it?
