Boeing’s 737 Max Software Outsourced to $9/Hour Engineers

No, it is no mystery, profit over all else.

They lost profits dude. Capitalism punishes bad choices. They didn't profit from this.
Not for lack of trying.

Well of course. When you go to work, don't you try and profit more from your job? Yes you do. You would love to get paid $100/hour to flip a burger over, or something else easy.

Welcome to the human race.
They cut corners, people died.

You're a little flippant with your "capitalism punishes bad choices". It often punishes the innocent. The guilty go free.

We shouldn't have capitalism or private business. Government should own and manage everything.
Oh hell no!

Outsourcing is all about cheap labor and profit margins. That's what makes American management so predictably disgraceful. Most of our great companies have sold out to cheap labor over quality and safety. The whole management philosophy of putting profit first and foremost is bullshit. It's like they have no pride in the integrity of their products. Boeing is about to find out that the good name it used to have was a valuable commodity that is going to be very expensive to regain.

Some 600 Boeing 737 Max have been grounded for 6 to 12 months. Boeing loss could be $6 billion to $10 billion because of outsourcing.

Look at advanced/world class China's high-speed trains

And that's the way it should be. That's proof capitalism is working. They losing billions on billions of dollars, and rightly so.

Too many people who should be in prison are not.

The have fucked the capitalism pooch in the ass.

The way to fix the problem is to start sending these fuckers to prison. Not just fines.

Now I will use cars for inter-state travel and high speed trains for frequent long distance travels.

I have been looking at 100s of scary airplane mishaps where the plane got damaged but landed in the end. Plane crash means game over.

When people die due to negligence, losing money is not good enough.

When an entire global economy crashes due to greed and negligence and rampant fraud, fines are not enough.

There needs to be hard prison time.

Oh hell no!

Isn't capitalism bad? Isn't the concept of people come up with great products and services that everyone loves just so that they can get rich revolting? We should eliminate capitalism so that we don't any more people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, right?

When you hire someone to fix your care.... if they do a poor job, and you don't check their work... then you should go to prison.

That's what you are saying. If you take your car for an oil change, do you check their work? Then you are negligent.

The company hired someone, just like you hire someone, to do a job for them.

Unless you can provide more evidence, I see a bad choice being made, but I don't see this as a criminal act.

Again, if that's the standard, then a lot of people should be in prison, not just CEOs. I think your view on this is motivated by greed and envy, rather than actual wrong doing. Because I highly doubt that if positions were reversed, and you crash your car because a mechanic didn't do a brake job correction, and you failed to check their work, that you would still be supporting this idea.

The problem with that is trains are massive money pits. Trains rarely, if ever, are profitable.

Contrary to left-wing claims.... the airline industry is self-supporting. Meaning it costs the public very little in operation. And even in security, the only reason we have are paying for airline security, isn't because they airlines can't do it. They did do it in the past. The idiotic government nationalized airline security, so now we have to pay for that.

But trains will cost us billions of dallors, and maybe you missed it, but our government doesn't have the money for that.

Start with yourself then. If we don't need people to commit actual crimes, than throw yourself in prison to start with.

Oh bull crap. When you compare safety today, to safety 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 100 years ago.... we are vastly more safe today, than in the past.

In the past, dozens would die, and that was normal. Today we have one or two die in an accident, and you guys act like planting explosives under car seats, to intentionally kill drivers.

You idiots have it so freakin good in this country, and all you spoiled brat snots do is whine about it.

If the companies are so evil, why are so many from around the world, trying to get to the US to work for those evil companies?

We have built the Chinese military and much of it's infrastructure with the jobs and industries we have outsourced there. China is our enemy. We need to make believe we like them but do everything we can to hurt their economy. We need to decouple from communist China no matter what socialist-communist Democrats think. Communist China is definitely trying their best to hurt our country. Eff China. Viva Hong Kong

People in China do not travel on the scale that we do. It is simply not practical in the US.

The last fatal commercial plane crash in the US occurred almost 11 years ago. That's one hell of a safety record that you just dismissed out of hand.
